Belfast Telegraph: Paul Ferguson The Belfast Telegraph is once again delighted to sponsor the Senior Schools’ Cup. We take immense pride in showcasing the best of Northern Ireland sport and today’s matches will exude the fantastic talent and competitive nature in the girls’ game. Sport, and in particular hockey, is a wonderful medium for bringing about friendship, discipline and a desire to succeed. This is evident with the recent success of Ireland’s senior women’s team. It also takes incredible sacrifice and focus on behalf of the players and coaches. At the Belfast Telegraph, we will be there to capture all the wonderful play and fighting spirit in print and on our digital formats. There will be many highs and lows, but ultimately sport is about enjoyment and therefore these matches should be a celebration. We wish all the girls and coaches well in today’s games.
