Our connecting flight is in Dubai where the two groups from Durban
and Johannesburg meet to board on an onward flight to Bangkok,
arriving at noon in the famous Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Once you have gone through immigration, the luxury minibuses
and the welcoming staff will take you through to a heaven tour
destination– Woodlands Hotel & Resort in Pattaya north.
Bangkok to Pattaya is a 2-hour drive with only with one stopover for
refreshments halfway. The Woodland Hotel has hosted us for 12 years
and it’s an experience one cannot get enough off from the day you
arrive.
This is home for the next 7 nights so after checking in and going for a long jetlag orientation walk
through Pattaya, you get the option to come to a relaxing swim at a hotel with 2 luxurious swimming
pools with a majestic swim-up bar. Evening time will be more of a Pattaya nightlife orientation for
the first-timers and a time to explore and experience the Thai food and culture. Prepare for the best

We also arrive at the beginning of the most
popular “non-golf” activity amongst our time in
Pattaya which is the SONGKRAN. The Thai New
Year and water festival which celebrates the end
of the New Year’s festivities.
Some streets are closed today, many businesses
shut down and everyone in town joins in a
day of water-filled open-air revelry with live
performances all along the beachfront, partying
in the Streets and festivities everywhere blended
with the gentle-nature of the Thai people.
