LIANZA is the national professional organisation for the New Zealand library and information
sector. LIANZA’s vision is ‘People and communities connected and empowered by
information’.

WHO WILL AT TEND
LIANZA 2019 will be the biggest gathering of library and information professionals in New
Zealand.
Participants include librarians, managers, decision-makers, government officials, publishers,
archivists, curators, library assistants, and game changers in the technology industry.
With a highly successful 2017 conference to build upon, we are planning to host over 500
delegates from a range of disciplines from New Zealand and beyond.
As a profession, New Zealand librarians serve over 2.4 million individuals each year, with a
combined budget of over $400 million. LIANZA Conference 2019 sponsorship will enable
your organisation to connect with key stakeholders before, during and after the event.

VENUE
LIANZA 2019 Conference will be at the Vodafone Events Centre in Manukau City, south of
Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau. We are thinking big and the events centre is the largest single
flat-floor space in the country. The exhibition space is roomy and connected centrally to
the plenary and breakout spaces. Superbly located near Auckland International Airport, the
venue is easily accessed from Manukau, the motorway and Auckland City.

CANCELLATION INFORMATION
Notifications of exhibition cancellation received prior to 1 July, 2019 will be provided with a
full refund less an administration charge of $300. After that date no refunds will be made.
LIANZA reserves the right to cancel the exhibition in case of circumstances beyond their
control. In such a case all monies paid to date will be refunded in full. The liability of the
organisers will be limited to that amount.
PROMOTION
Sponsors and exhibitors are invited to promote their involvement in the 2019 LIANZA
Conference through emails, letterheads, accounts, websites, and other customer
communications, in addition to the promotion provided by LIANZA to its members. If you
