           CANCER Fundraiser SHOW.

                  Date – 29th March 2020,       Start Time – 9:00 am Sharp
           Venue – Horsemans Pony Club, Gnangara Road, Whiteman WA
                             Gate Opens - 7.00am, not before,
                          Office at 7:30am to collect numbers.
                        Pre-Entries Close 20th March 2020, 5pm,
                         Late entries accepted on the day with $20 fee.
     2x WALK/TROT RINGS, 2 x WALK/TROT/CANTER RING, EXPERIENCED RIDERS RING
                       18yrs & over Show,         NO HACKING JACKETS

    This is an Encouragement Fun Show for all Unofficial Horses/Ponies & Riders
                                          ONLY…..
           Part proceeds go to the Breast and Prostate cancer foundations.
** As the Colour for Breast Cancer is PINK & the Colour for Prostate Cancer is LIGHT BLUE
** All riders are encouraged to wear as much pink OR light blue, as you like.

Rules & Regulations (please read carefully);
The Pinto Horse Society (WA) or it’s representatives, shall not be held responsible for the loss or damage suffered by any exhibitor in
respect to any property, person or animal brought onto the grounds whether caused by / or attributed to the negligence of The Pinto Horse
Society (WA) or any of its servants, agents whatsoever.
This is an Encouragement Fun Show for Unofficial Horses/Ponies, 4 yrs and over and any height
& Unofficial Riders 18 years and over ONLY….. The show is designed to encourage riders who DO NOT
compete on a regular basis or place highly at any ridden shows throughout the year or who are new to competition.
We are trying to give the beginners a go here or riders that cant trot for whatever reason or the riders that have
never been to a hack show or just starting out after having years away from horses. Please enter accordingly.
RING 5 is for experienced riders
Ring 1 -Walk/Trot 18 yrs to 29yrs. Is a rider that can confidently walk and trot by themselves. And can’t canter for whatever reason
Ring 2-Walk/Trot 30 yrs & over. Is a rider that can confidently walk and trot by themselves. And can’t canter for whatever reason
Ring 3 –Walk/Trot/Canter 18 yrs to 29 yrs. Is a rider that can confidently walk, trot and canter by themselves. Have never been to a hack
show or not competed on a regular basis.
Ring 4 –Walk/Trot/Canter 30 yrs & over. Is a rider that can confidently walk, trot and canter by themselves. Have never been to a hack
show or not competed on a regular basis.
Ring 5- Experienced Riders. 18yrs and over .Experienced Riders that compete throughout the year and that have green/young or older
horses and would like to get them out for the day and support the show.

Part proceeds go to the Beast and Prostate cancer foundations.
** As the Colour for Breast Cancer is PINK and the Colour for Prostate Cancer is LIGHT BLUE
** All riders are encouraged to wear as much pink as you like or light blue as you like. Only wear one colour
please.
***Plaiting is optional, NO HACKING JACKETS, we prefer a long sleeve shirt clean & tidy and be sun smart.
Western saddles, Stock saddles or English saddles are allowed.
· ONLY snaffle bits on bridles to be used. No doubles, palhems, chains etc . No halters to be used in the ring.
· All riders must have Safety Approved riding helmets (ANZ 3838) or the new current approved helmets and
riding boots.
· The judge’s decision is final.
· No martingales or spurs are allowed. Whips must not exceed 110cm long from handle to tip of tassel.
· All handlers are responsible for riders and horses behavior.
· Any animal behaving in an unruly or destructive manner will be asked to leave the ring. Competitors shall at all-times behave in a proper
and respectful manner to the judges, officials and follow competitors. Any competitor whose conduct is considered to be ill-mannered
aggressive or unsportsmanlike may be dismissed from the class or disqualified from the show
· Riders’ age as of the day.
· By signing and completing the entry & disclaimer form (can NOT compete unless disclaimer form is signed), the exhibitor
enters entirely at their own risk. The show organizers, helpers or The Pinto Horse Society of WA Inc cannot be held responsible
for any issues that may occur on the day.
* Stable/yard must be booked and paid for with entries .NO booking No stable/yard.
· Competitors to compete in one ring only.
• Exhibitor’s entered in the walk/trot MUST NOT canter on the outside of the ring.And leadliner must stay on lead line outside the ring.
  All handlers in the leadline ring must be over 18yrs.
· No refund shall be given unless accompanied by a vet certificate or doctor’s certificate, less a $10.00 administration fee.
· Dogs are not permitted on the grounds, you will be asked to leave.
· All care must be taken to ensure riders understand that this is a fun and fair day.
· All exhibits must be nominated in the name of the registered owner / leasee.
· The organizers reserve the right to change the program at any time.
· A height certificate should be available on the day if requested. The pinto horse society does have a measuring stick but this will not
  be an official measurement,
· All protests must be lodged in writing within 30 minutes of the alleged offence / event and accompanied by a $50.00 fee which will be
  refunded if protest is upheld.
· NO OFFICIAL HORSES/PONIES & RIDER’S.
** NO stallion or colts to be on the ground or ridden at this show please.

incur $15 administra on fee. Any entries handed in on the day will incur the extra on the day fee of $20

In considera on for being permi ed to par cipate in any way in horse sport ac vi es and in par cular this event, I, ____________
(PARTICIPANT'S NAME), the undersigned, understand, acknowledge and accept that: Horse sports are a dangerous recrea onal ac vity
and horses can act in a sudden and unpredictable (changeable) way, especially if frightened or hurt. There is a significant risk that
serious INJURY or DEATH may result from horse sport ac vi es and in par cular this event. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks,
both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the proprietors of PHS WA (herea er referred to as the "Releasees")
or others and I voluntarily PARTICIPATE at my OWN RISK and assume sole responsibility for any injury, death or property damage I may
suffer that arises from my par cipa on in horse sport ac vi es. I understand and acknowledge the dangers associated with the
consump on of alcohol or any mind altering drugs before and during the ac vity and I take full responsibility for any injury, loss or
damage associated with their consump on. I agree not to drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law before or during this event. I
agree to follow the direc ons of any event organiser or official and that any misconduct or refusal by me to follow any direc on of any
organiser or official can result in the CANCELLATION of my par cipa on in the event and my immediate removal from my horse NO
MATTER where that may occur. I understand that any such non-compliance may result in injury, death and/or permanent disability and
I agree to indemnify the Releasees against all claims made by any person as a result of my failure to comply. I agree to wear a helmet at
all mes during the event and agree that I am solely responsible for ensuring that I wear a suitable helmet at all mes and take sole
responsibility for my ac ons. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representa ves and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE
AND HOLD HARMLESS AND AGREE NOT TO SUE the proprietors of PHS WA, their officers, officials, volunteers, coaches, agents and/or
employees, other par cipants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, state bodies, affiliated clubs and if applicable, owners and lessors of
premises used to conduct the ac vi es (all of whom are referred to as "Releasees") WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY,
DEATH, OR loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.

Effect of this Document

I have had sufficient opportunity to read this release of liability and assump on of risk agreement, fully understand its terms,
understand that I have given up substan al rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without inducement of any kind. I
understand that my signature to this document cons tutes a complete and uncondi onal release of all liability of the Releasees, to the
greatest extent allowed by law in the event of me and/or the children under my care, suffering injury or death.
