The BYEH Final winners who became Olympians
The Burghley Young Event
series has had a tremendous
impact on the production of
horses at both Olympic and
5-star level eventing today.
For Team GBR Eventing, we
have been incredibly fortunate
to have been represented by
three horses whom have all
been prior BYEH final winners
and have gone on to represent
our country at Olympic level.
These three outstanding horses
are Miners Frolic, Primmores
Pride and Ceylor L A N.
In 2003, Miners Frolic won the
BYEH Final for five-year-olds
and went on to represent Team
GBR at both the Beijing 2008
and London 2012 Olympics
with Kristina Cook. Kristina
also rode him in the BYEH
Final.
At Beijing, Miners Frolic and
Kristina took the both the
individual bronze and team
bronze for Great Britain. Four
years later at the London 2012
Olympics, Miners Frolic and
Kristina were sixth individually
and helped Team GBR to take
the team silver medal.

Ceylor L A N represented
