Work experience
    opportunities
If you would like to get some virtual work experience
while you are at home, there are opportunities
available with Speakers for Schools.
You will get to speak to current apprentices and
graduates about their jobs, take part in interactive
sessions and learn new skills.
Here are just a few examples of the placements coming
up. There are many more on the website:
• Midland Metro Alliance, International Women’s
  Day (Construction): 8th March 2021 (for age 14+)
• East West Railway Company - Building a New
  Railway (Technology, Engineering and Customer
  Services): 6th - 9th April 2021 (for age 16+)
•   Green Skills in the Construction and Engineering
    Industry (Architecture): 6th - 9th April 2021 (for age 14+)

                 childcare and will build effective relationships with

                 Vacancy: Apprenticeships in Electrical Maintenance and
                 Mechanical Maintenance
                 Start Date: September 2021
                 Closing Date: 28th May 2021.
                 Details: Applicants are expected the achieve a minimum of five
                 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths, Science and English.
Apprenticeship   You should be an enthusiastic team member with excellent
                 communication skills and the ability to use your own initiate. You
vacancies        should also have a natural interest and aptitude for mechanical
                 and electrical engineering.
