Between the threatening flood, that thankfully never came and the broken air conditioning systems it really could have ended up being a very bad experience for all. However, you all stuck through it with us and in the end we all had an amazing and memorable time at the cluster. We have been working with the Fairgrounds and they will be installing a new air conditioning system in the Ring Building. They will be fixing or replacing the broken unit in the Grooming Building, as well as replacing the roof in the obedience building. This will hopefully resolve the heat and other issues going forward.
We are thankful to the fairgrounds for renting the portable 25ton AC system last year and glad a new system in being installed by our show dates.
While we can’t control the weather we can do our anti-rain dance and hope the flood waters are not an issue this year. From the Mountain Laurel Cluster thank you and see you all in July! 4
