Become a Friend of The Watermill
By becoming a Friend of The Watermill Theatre your support goes to the heart of what we
do - create exciting and memorable theatre for all to enjoy. Your donation will also help us to
deliver an inspirational outreach programme to those in our local community.
Throughout the year, the Friends Committee, run by a dedicated group of volunteers,
organise a range of activities and events including a series of Lunchtime Talks and Supper
Clubs with keynote speakers, walks with talks, fairs, workshops and much more. Past speakers
have included Libby Purves, Deborah Puxley, Stewart Hofgartner and the directors of Kiss Me,
Kate and Assassins. Events are open to all, with Friends receiving priority booking.
The Friends of The Watermill make an impressive financial contribution to the theatre,
a registered charity. Last year, they generated over £105,000 from donations and
organised events.
