I filed for my candidacy, I did so intending to
make Eugene a better city for us to live. I want to
help create a city where people feel safe, where
we can get the unhoused and unemployed into
housing and jobs. I want to help those suffering
from addiction by offering more services, I want
to fix the sidewalks in the neighborhoods so that
our parents and grandparents can walk without
the risk of falling and breaking a bone.

I have a unique perspective on life; I have
experienced financial stability as well as extreme
poverty including a brief period of homelessness.
I have struggled with opiate addiction after an
injury I sustained in 2005. I have overcome that
opiate addiction and understand what it takes to
have successful programs to help the addiction.
