Whanganui is one on New Zealand’s oldest cities. We are
blessed with historic and award-winning architecture and a
community of people who share a love of magnificent things
from eras gone by.
Whanganui Vintage Weekend is a culmination of what we
love and who we are, and a celebration of a destination we
are very proud of. We are pleased to bring it to you, for the
seventh year, this January 2019.
We have a fantastic, full programme of events and experiences
to entertain and thrill you. There is something for every
age and interest. We encourage you to embrace the theme
wholeheartedly by dressing up - just pick an era you love, any
era and bring it to life!

Zealand's first national centre for community glass and
witness the delicate art of glass-blowing first hand. Better
still, make your own coloured paperweight in our 30 minute
workshops available from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 19
January. One participant per workshop. Little or no experience
needed. A hands on and fun experience, with a vintage vibe!
