Our philosophy: to create a small jewel in the form of our hotel, a jewel that embraces both
traditional and modern. Here with us at Hotel Johanneshof in Grossarl, you will also be able
to explore the countless alpine pastures of Grossarltal as you spend your winter or summer
holidays with us, since we are located right by the trailheads of many different hiking tours.
Hotel Johanneshof lies right in the center of Unterberg - Grossarl. Here, you can unwind to
your heart’s content and enjoy all of the attractions this tourism destination has to offer.
Traditional and modern: native woods in combination with leather, natural rock and linens,
along with spring water reenergized using technology pioneered by Johann Grander. We are
delighted to be able to share this ambience with our guests and friends.
Whether big or small, here everyone feels right at home!
Children have a special place in our heart, which is why we are always thrilled to welcome
families to our hotel. This is also why we have created a playground. And when the weather
isn’t quite so pretty, the children will still be able to have fun in the playroom inside the hotel.
There are also plenty of opportunities for fun in water, including a 10 m long waterslide that
drops down to our outdoor pool.
Hotel Johanneshof offers a total of 11 Premium Comfort rooms and 10 de Luxe Comfort
rooms plus 6 Family Suites and 3 de Luxe Family Suites. Culinarily, we treat you to highlights
that include our Gala Dinner, Italian, Austrian and farmhouse buffets, and so much more. Our

As you unwind in our wellness oasis, leave the stresses of your hectic daily life far behind and discover renewed sources of energy once again! Swim to your heart’s content in our pleasantly warm indoor pool or in our delightful outdoor pool. After a strenuous day full of new experiences, your tired muscles will quickly be reinvig- orated in our sauna facilities that include a Finnish sauna, organic steam bath, Turkish steam bath and infrared cabin made of pine. When you are ready to stretch out after your sauna sessions, our “Pavilion of Peace” is the ideal place to be. For your refreshment, in the wellness area you will find a fountain flowing with reenergized “Grander” water as you will a tea bar. In the garden of the Johanneshof you can soak up the sunshine, as you can out on our sun-terrace. Soothing wellness in the cozy warmth of our new infrared cabin made of pine.

The kitchen of Hotel Johanneshof treats you to a sumptuous breakfast buffet that includes organic dairy
products from local hay-fed cattle. In the evening, you can enjoy a selection of regional foods from our
farmhouse buffet or delicious international dishes.

one child, we charge the applicable price for the age of the child in question plus € 20,00 per
day. If you decide to book our Family Suite for just 2 adults, we will charge you a surcharge of
€ 20,00 per day during the main holiday periods. However, if you stay with us outside of those
dates, you will only be charged the 2-person price of our Comfort Rooms de Luxe! Our Family
Suite de Luxe is not available for 2-person occupancy.
