We must point out that WOLD TRAVEL reserve the unconditional right to refuse a booking or
terminate a passengers tour in the event of unreasonable conduct which in our opinion is likely to
cause distress, damage, danger or annoyance to other customers, employees, property, or to any
third party. This includes any passenger who fails to advise us of any medical conditions or
disability in accordance with paragraph 10. If you are prevented from travelling as a result of such
termination, our responsibility for your tour thereupon ceases . Full cancellation charges will apply
and we will be under no obligation whatsoever for any refund, compensation or loss you may
incur.
10. PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES:
We accept bookings from handicapped people, however any disability must be highlighted by
forwarding a letter with all details to our office at the time of booking, please ensure this letter is
acknowledged. We stress that we cannot guarantee any requests that are made, but we normally
find that hotels etc respond favourably in such circumstances. If we are not informed in this way
we cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience or costs incurred by the client. You should
also be aware that although many hotels and attractions cater for wheelchairs , there may still be
steps or stairs to contend with.
11. OTHER TERMS:
(i) You may not bring a pet or any other animal on a Wold Travel tour (except guide
dogs)
(ii) You may not play a radio or cassette player on the coach.
(iii) You are responsible for ensuring you are at the departure point at the correct time,
and we cannot be liable for any loss or expense suffered by clients because of their
late arrival at the departure point.
(iv) You must ensure that you have a valid passport and visa if necessary and we cannot
be liable for any loss or expense suffered if you do not. The British Visitors (1 year)
passport was abolished January 1996, UK citizens travelling on any holiday/tour abroad
must be in possession of a FULL 10 YEAR PASSPORT before they leave the UK.
UK citizens do not require a passport to travel to Southern Ireland and at time of
print no VISAS were required by holders of British Passports to any of the
destinations offered in our own travel brochure. Holders of non EC passports may
well be subject to varying visa requirements for certain countries through and to
which our holidays travel, and should check with the appropriate embassies or
consulates to ascertain any visa requirements and the likely time needed to obtain
them. Please remember we cannot accept responsibility for any of our clients who
are not in correct possession of the correct travel documentation. We strongly advise
clients to keep their passports securely on their person or locked in a hotel security
safe throughout their holidays with us.
(v) Although our vehicles have large luggage compartments we have to comply to regulations
concerning the overall weight of fully laden vehicles. We would therefore ask you to
restrict your luggage to one medium sized suitcase – It is a condition of travel that
any items over and above this are notified in writing to Wold Travel and this includes
collapsible wheelchairs. Note: Battery driven chairs or vehicles cannot be accepted
and it is your responsibility to ensure that your luggage is on board the coach on
which you are travelling. Please ensure that any instructions given by our driver(s) or
couriers, at any time during the holiday, concerning luggage and personal effects are
strictly adhered to. We would strongly recommend taking our holiday insurance
offered in our brochure which provides cover in the case of loss or damage.
(vi) SMOKING is NOT allowed on any Wold Travel tour. If you ignore this rule and
thereby cause inconvenience, distress or disappointment to other passengers, you
may be asked to leave the holiday (see para 9 on rights of refusal).

and heavy fines are imposed by authorities, particularly if attending any sporting
function.

the passenger must ensure that the information is confirmed by/to them in writing. No
responsibility will be accepted for any loss, damage or disappointment if this
procedure has not been followed
(ix) Whilst every effort is made to adhere to times stated in our brochure, on a private
hire itinerary, or by our drivers during a journey, there could be circumstances
beyond our control, such as weather and traffic conditions etc., which may cause
delays and must be accepted.
(x) Our brochures are accurate at time of print. If we become aware of any changes we
will advise potential customers as soon as possible after the change has been made
and if necessary alter or cancel our contract by mutual agreement.
(xi) If by regulations the introductions of consumer levies to provide additional financial
protection for packaged holidays are advised to us by the authorities the amounts will
be advised to clients and will be added to final invoicing separately and not subject to
our surcharge guarantee
(xii) Excursions are included in the price of most packages and refunds cannot be made
for passengers not wishing to go on any such excursions.
(xiii) Admissions to buildings, grounds, theatres, venues and guided tours are not usually
included in the price of the holiday unless otherwise stated in our brochure or private
hire itinerary..

                                  OUR PROMISE TO YOU:
1. WE RESERVE YOUR HOLIDAY:
On receipt of your signed or authorised booking form we will send you your ticket/boarding
card booklet and that is proof that a contract is made between us.
2. YOUR HOLIDAY PRICE:
Our prices are fixed long before publication of our brochure. The holiday prices are fully
guaranteed against currency surcharges no matter what happens to the value of sterling.
Prices are however subject to surcharges resulting from government action, including
additional bonding or licensing requirements, VAT, taxes, levies by the UK government or
government agencies. In all cases we reserve the right to pass on these amounts in full.
Prices are however subject to surcharges resulting in changes to fuel costs, increases in
scheduled air fares, and changes to airport or port taxes. In this case we will absorb an
amount equivalent to 2% of the package price which excludes insurance premiums. Only
amounts in excess of 2% will be surcharged, plus a £1 administrative charge per person. If
this means clients are to pay more than 10% more on the package price, you will be entitled to
cancel your holiday with a full refund of all monies paid except for any premium paid to us for
holiday insurance and amendment charges. Should you decide to cancel because of this you
must exercise your right to do so within 21 days from the issue of your amended invoice.
Unless specifically indicated in the package description, entrance fees, guiding fees and
optional excursions are not included in the holiday price. Holiday prices include all coach
travel, holiday accommodation and meals stated in the package description and VAT at the
current rate where applicable.
3 IF WE CHANGE YOUR HOLIDAY:
Your holiday is planned many months in advance and although it is unlikely, it is possible, that
circumstances may force us to make changes in the quoted package. These changes come
into two categories:
(i) Minor changes take the form of changes to departure or return times by less than
12 hours, alteration to booked seat numbers, changes to departure points within 20
miles of original point booked, Changes of hotel or town if 2 night stay or less, If time
allows we will advise you of minor changes.
(ii) Major changes are those including changes of departure times by more than 12 hours
offering accommodation with lower classification. If we have to make a major change
you can decide:
(a) To continue the holiday as amended or
(b) Accept a alternative which we may offer you or
(c) Cancel.
4. IF WE CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY:
It is necessary for there to be a minimum number of passengers in order to operate a tour. If
this number is not achieved by the tour date the tour could be cancelled. In certain
circumstances, therefore, we may have to cancel your holiday and if this should occur we will
return all the monies you have paid to Wold Travel at the time of the cancellation.
5. WHAT HAPPENS TO COMPLAINTS:
All complaints are fully investigated and customers are kept informed at each stage of the
investigation. Sometimes investigations can take time when awaiting response from hoteliers.
We can normally agree an amicable settlement of the very few serious complaints we receive,
if the complaint is found to be genuine. Disputes arising out of , or in connection with, this
contract which cannot be amicably settled, may (if the customer so wishes) be referred to
arbitration under a special scheme devised by the Confederation of Passenger Transport
(CPT). The scheme provides a simple and inexpensive method of arbitration on documents
alone with restricted liability on the customer in respect of costs. The scheme does not apply
to claims for a amount greater than £1500 per person and a limit of £7500 per booking form.
Neither does it apply to claims which are solely or mainly in respect of physical injury or illness
or the consequence thereof. ( There is a limit of 9 months from the date of return.)
6. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU:
We accept responsibility for ensuring that all component parts of your package are supplied to
you to a reasonable standard and this includes optional excursions purchased through our
employees or agents. If any such part is not provided in the listed package, we will pay
reasonable compensation unless the non-provision was due to circumstances which we could
not predict and which were beyond our control such as adverse weather, road or traffic
conditions, hostilities, political unrest, riots or other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
(1) We check all our information contained in our packages regularly. However ,
circumstances such as weather conditions, the time of year, etc., may cause some of the
amenities we have listed to be temporarily unavailable, for instance, a pool emptied for
cleaning, or a bar for redecoration. Such things are regrettably beyond our control and we
are unable to accept liability.
(2) Some excursions include use of ferries or other form of transport which can be affected
by inclement weather, and may have to be cancelled. Whenever possible a suitable
alternative will be offered.
(3) Published running times of services are estimates only and (we will not be liable for any
loss howsoever caused) arising from delay or failings to operate in accordance with our
published timings.
