Lakes Regatta Centre, this is the first official event of the Avon Descent. In an action packed day of adventure, this
event will get even the hardest of hearts moving, showcasing on the water challenges and displays from hundreds
of the Avon Descent competitors. It’s not just about watching with this event though, you too will be able to get
your hands dirty and have a go at the various activities both on and off the water on the day!

This is an opportunity for artists to create artworks in Bungendore Park, using Araluen Botanic Park will set the scene for a stunning kaleidoscope of colour

2021 Australian Masters Games
Saturday 9 to Saturday 16 October
The 2021 Australian Masters Games is a week long festival of sport that brings together
weekend warriors to enjoy an extensive sporting and social program in an exciting holiday
destination. The Games will feature 50 sports, and participants don’t have to meet
qualification standards, just the minimum age requirement, which in most sports is 30 years.
The Australian Masters Games will also comprise an extensive social program, including
opening and closing ceremonies and opportunities to explore Perth and Western Australia.
This year the City of Armadale will play host to the Canoe/Kayak, Rowing and Dragon Boat
Competitions at the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre.

Friday 15 and Saturday 16 October
Kelmscott Agricultural Show is an annual fun family event run by volunteers for the local
Community. You can enter your flowers, art, cooking, craft and produce into our exhibitions,
see farm animals, live entertainment and the log chop. Enjoy the spectacular flower displays,
