PROFILE (Minimal Cost)
Vocational Education in Schools programs from South Metro TAFE and North Metro TAFE
These courses are only available to students who
1. Have C Grades or higher in Year 10 – TAFE Applications will not be submitted for those students with a D grade in Maths and English
2. Have selected the Vocational Pathway at Atwell College in 2017
Points to consider
Expression of Interest (EOI) Application forms must be completed. Please ask your VET Program Counsellor for the correct EOI form.
The most recent school report must be submitted with application form – Application forms without a school report will be returned to the student.
A copy of the student’s report can be obtained from SLB Reception at a cost of $5.
Resumes and references are highly encouraged to be submitted with your expression of interest application.
Students will be limited to one profile-funded qualification for their senior secondary schooling (i.e. year 11 and 12) – New!
Applications submitted after the deadline will be placed on a waitlist.
Entry in to programs is determined by the TAFE Program Coordinators and Lecturers.
All students MUST have minimum C grade in Maths and English to be considered.
Interviews may be scheduled at TAFE.
Many programs have highly competitive entry requirements. This means that student’s will be assessed and ranked based on their grades and the
comments in their reports – in particular Electrotechnology, Health, Animal Studies and Cert III’s.
Students must commit to the program for the entire year.
Courses with insufficient numbers may not run.
Programs offered by training providers are subject to change – please select more than one qualification
All costs are approximate
Courses may not have a “follow on” qualification in Year 12. Students may be required to apply for a qualification in a different industry.
Students who have completed more than 25% of a Cert III may not be eligible for employer supported traineeships after completing school – New!
