Core Environment Programme and Biodiversity Conservations Corridor Initiative This ADB programme aims to improve biodiversity conserva- tion and climate resilience across the Greater Mekong Subregion. It strengthens the capacity and fosters owner- ship to manage environmental and social risks jointly and across borders. National environmental policies and strate- gies have been supported, such as the Cambodia National Environmental Strategy and Action Plan and Lao PDR Pollution Control Strategy. Real-Time Evaluation of Sustainable Coastal Fisheries Programme in Myanmar The Sustainable Coastal Fisheries pro- gramme supports the Department of Fisher- ies and strengthens sustainable fisheries in Tanintharyi Region and Rakhine State in Myanmar. The project enhances livelihoods for local fishing communities, pilots commu- nity-led comanagement arrangements for sustainable inshore fisheries, and addresses sustainable use of marine resources. The Real-Time Evaluation (RTE) enhances the evaluation work by enabling data collection concurrent with implementation. The pur- pose of RTE is to provide input for learning during the implementation process and document the intervention towards the end of the four years. The evaluation takes the expected outcomes as its point of departure and collects baseline and annual data, which will enable us to follow the progress towards 11 achieving its goals. 12
