Welcome Hello, Thanks for picking up this Time Credit brochure, it will tell you what Time Credits are, how you can earn them, and how you can spend them. You might not have realised, but Time Credits are being earned and spent all over the country. You’re now part of a network of over 14,000 people and hundreds of organisations who give their time to their community. Welcome to the team. Here in South East Wales, over 38,000 hours have been given and 130 community groups are involved. You can join in too, in a way that suits you. Have a look on the Team Page to find out how. How Time Credits work Give an We all need a little help sometimes, for lots hour of different things. Our communities are no of time d oi different, and this is where Time credits come somethin ng in. g If you give an hour of your time to your in your communi community, your community will say thank you by giving you an hour back to spend on ty something you like to do. Everyone’s hour is worth the same and everyone gets thanked. There’s no limit to how many credits you can earn, and the more you earn the more you can Get an spend. Time Credits never expire and they don’t cost hour any money. There are lots of ways to earn to spen the acti d on Time Credits across your community, and hundreds of ways to spend them across the v country. You can earn and spend in a way in this g ities that suits you. Why? Because everyone has uide something to give, and ultimately, because a bit of time together makes all the difference. Carers or support workers are given free entry with anyone who has earned Time Credits and needs a bit of extra assistance. How Time Credits work cont... All the great ways to spend your Time Credits you see in this brochure are provided by businesses, councils and community groups. They do not receive any payment for providing these opportunities. We think you’ll agree that’s rather nice of them, so let them know if you enjoyed their activity, and feel free to tell them how you earned your credits. If you have problems with any of the opportunities listed, get in touch with us straight away so we can chat to these helpful partners of ours and iron things out. About the partner Newport County Association Football Club is a professional association football club based in the city of Newport, South Wales. The club participates in Football League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system. Most recently reformed in 1989, the club is a continuation of the Newport County club which was founded in 1912 and was a founder member of the Football League’s new Third Division in 1920. 20

The park has a street based design with an array of banks, blocks, handrails and hips amongst other things. Alongside is a small shop in partnership with City Surf and a café serving homemade food. Throughout the space they support a programme of events, performances, screenings, exhibitions and residencies giving creative practitioners from all art forms a platform to experiment and present work. 30

About the partner Cadw offers over 100 exciting places for you to explore. Wales has some of the best and most beautiful castles in the world. It has abbeys, churches, chapels and some of the most atmospheric ancient monuments that visitors have been seeking out for thousands of years. There are monuments that remind us of Wales’s proud heritage as one of the first industrial nations in the world and sites that tell the stories of the medieval Welsh princes.
