European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a standard for comparing the study In case of universities attainment and performance of students of higher (PIM & Bilateral education across the European Union and other agreements), which do collaborating European countries. Just for the BA students!!! The original, signed by the partner university, is brought back by the student in order to settle the stay.

Grant transfer The grant transfer follows the submission of a set of documents (including financial documents). The student receives the grant in 2 installments: • 70% of the entire grant calculated for the period included in the Letter of Acceptance • 2nd installment: amount is based on Letter of Confirmation. If the period is shorter, the amount is reduced accordingly ATTENTION - compensation is paid only after fulfilling all the procedures on return!
The project „Mobility Abroad of Students with Disabilities and those in a Difficult Financial Situation” is implemented under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development (Program Operacyjny Wiedza Edukacja Rozwój) and supports the transnational mobility of students. The main objective of the project is to raise professional and key competences of students with disabilities and students in a difficult financial situation by implementing part of the education program at a University abroad. SGH applied for a mobility grant in 2019/2020 a.y. based on information from the SGH Scholarship Committee. We are currently waiting for results that we will announce as soon as possible.

The period of stay in the framework of Erasmus+ scholarship can not be shorter than 3 months and must be completed within the same academic year. In case the trip turns out to be shorter than the one recorded in the agreement between the student and SGH (but not shorter than 3 months), the student will be asked to return the undue amount. If the period of actual stay at the host university will be less than 3 months the student will be required to return the entire amount of scholarship.
We appeal for not leaving the exams for the last minute, that is for the resit exam session!!! A student who does not pass the exams for the semester prior to the beginning of his/her exchange mobility will have to get permission from the Dean to go on exchange (in writing). When a student is deleted from the list of students because of the failure to pass the course, he/she will be forced to return from the exchange and return the entire amount of the scholarship (if he/she goes on exchange in the framework of Erasmus +)
MILE STEP – DEPARTURE
PROCEDURES DURING STAY ABROAD CONTACT DETAILS DURING THE MOBILITY PERIOD (form on the website) – not later than one week from the beginning of classes at the Partner University DECLARATION OF CHANGES TO ORIGINAL LEARNING AGREEMENT – no later than one month from the start of classes at the Partner University: • Bachelor students - by e-mail • Master students - by VD • If there is a need to submit changes again/later [e.g. modules] this should be reported when submitting changes to LA for the first time [valid for up to 1 month from the start of classes] COURSE EQUIVALENT PROPOSALS– collecting syllabuses (if applicable) Obtaining STAMP and SIGNATURE of the coordinator from the receiving university on LA and changes to LA Obtaining STAMP and SIGNATURE on LETTER OF CONFIRMATION (Erasmus +, CEMS and MPPD with a scholarship) at the end of stay
IMPORTANT Failure to submit changes to Learning Agreement on time and making changes without declaring them may result in serious consequences such as removal from the student list and return of the scholarship!!!
AFTER RETURN Relation from stay or in other words REPORT (electronic version should be sent to the email of the contact person) ERASMUS+ - obligatory online survey on the website of the European Commission (entry in the agreement obliging the Student to complete the form) - OLS language test at the end of your stay

IMPORTANT While abroad on exchange programs, students retain the rights (and duties) of the SGH student (scholarships, social, etc., for details see the website of the Students’ Union of SGH). Having done all the courses at SGH (absolutorium) does not absolve the student from the obligation to obtain credits during the study abroad. It is not possible to obtain a Dean's leave for the period of exchange
Online Linguistic Support (OLS) is mandatory for students going on exchange or internship within Erasmus + program. Currently OLS offers tests and courses in following languages and levels: Language Language Test Language Course English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Yes Yes – all levels Dutch, German, Italian Czech Yes Yes – A1 - A2 level Bulgarian, Croatian, Danish, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Yes Yes – on A1 level Slovakian, Swedish, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Slovenian Before the beginning of mobility each student going for study or placement abroad is obliged to fill in the online language test. ATTENTION! Link to the test will be sent to students SGH email address and OLS account must be established on this email address.
On the basis of the test’s result the university may award the interested students with the licence for online language course. The course will be available during student’s mobility period. ATTENTION – students whose result will be B1 or lower will receive such licence and will be obliged to take the online course (OLS system automatically award the licence). Before the end of mobility students will receive the link to the second language test – the link will be valid only for few days. The test has to be taken immediately [remember to check your SPAM folder] Tests before and after the mobility ar MANDATORY. Failure to fill in one of them will be subject to claiming to return full amount of Erasmus+ grant.
