wards for all of that hard work throughout the year. It
has been a pleasure to see how our pupils have grown
in confidence and have blossomed into wonderful,
young human beings. Those seeds have been carefully
planted earlier in the year and now we are beginning to
see just how good they all can be. The famous actress
Audrey Hepburn once said something remarkable and
beautiful about Spring:

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.”
A gorgeous quote, but also one that carries a lot of im-
portant meaning, especially in this strange time that
we are living in. Keep planting those gardens, children!
Keep planting those seeds of knowledge, inspiration,
enthusiasm, a desire to help others and resilience, and
who knows what tomorrow could look like for all of us.

impressed with how you have applied yourself this
week in a range of tasks. Your science investigation
work with parallel circuits was fantastic, as were your

Year 3 have had a great week! We planted some sun-
flowers last week in our science lesson, the class have
been split into groups and have placed their plants in
different locations to test how the different environ-
ments effects how their sunflowers grow. We are start-
ing to see growth in some of our plants which is very
 exciting!!

We have been on a virtual tour of the Harry Potter
Studios in London and compared some reports and
opinions of this tour before they wrote their own re-
port of the tour. They have thought about the different
language used to describe their thoughts and ideas of
 the tour.

We had an exciting week learning about measure-
ment and even went outside and measured flowers,
leaves and sticks before measuring each other's height
 against the trees!
