INTRODUCTION We are proud to offer an outstanding golf experience in a tranquil, beautiful, and friendly environment. We invite you to consider the benefits provided in becoming a Member at our Club. In recent years the Highwood’s mandate has been to offer flexibility and options in membership and frequent play programming. We continue to instill the value of mem- bership. We are currently offering Shareholder and Non-Shareholder Memberships (Category A) as well as our Points Rewards Membership (Category B) at a truly afford- able price creating, exceptional value you will not find elsewhere. New additions for 2020 include our social membership options that have been de- veloped for golfers who enjoy 9 hole rounds and league play. We also continue to grow our pass program which includes our popular twilight evening pass as well as our mid afternoon 2 Hour Play Pass. Highwood Golf is more than just Golf! As the “Gem of the Foothills” we offer year round programming that includes 28-Holes of championship golf, grass tee driving range, expansive short game area, winter indoor teaching academy, indoor simulator golf, winter yoga, cross country skiing, kids PD day camps, wine club and many fea- ture events. HIGHWOOD HISTORY
As we embark into our 61st season we always cherish our rich history. Golf in High
River dates back to 1919 with the official formation of the Highwood G&CC coming in
1958. The Highwood is currently a Semi-Public 28-Hole facility, located just 25
minutes from South Calgary, the Highwood has become a popular choice for Calgary,
High River, Okotoks and surrounding area’s residents, looking for a great golf atmos-
phere in a quiet and relaxed community.
The beautiful layout meanders along the Highwood River, throughout massive
cottonwoods and evergreens and finishes at the modern 10,000 square foot clubhouse
constructed in 2010. Known for being a challenging golf course, the Highwood is
popular among walking golfers and provides a tranquil setting for golf. The facility is
capped off with a new grass tee driving range, putting green and short game area.
The Staff at the Highwood are passionate professionals providing exceptional service.
Our restaurant, known as The Foxes Den, seats over 100 patrons boasting the best
dining experience in High River. The Wellman Room designed for tournaments,
weddings, parties and other events comfortably seats 200 people plus a deck
overlooking two of our great finishing holes.

lineage will be required for new family members of active 2020 Category A Highwood Members.

The Person you wish to introduce is not a family member? We will allow current Highwood
Golf Members to welcome non-family members under the same discount rate with a multi-year
membership commitment. Minimum 2 years of pre-paid dues in which only the first year will quali-
fy for the promotional rate. The payment process for year 2 is spread throughout the 2020 season.
