make Saint-Cécile the largest painted
cathedral in Europe. Built in a meridional
gothic style, it’s also the biggest brick
religious building in the world! Its austere

to keep you dry!
• Discover the region in your car by following the Tarn Valley and
Ségala circuit. The upper Tarn valley has splendid bird’s eye views
from the ridges before the treasures to visit on the tour.
• Relax in the sauna and jacuzzi in the well-being area of
the Hôtel du Pont at Saint-Cirgue.
• Listen to the bells of Saint-Julien-Gaulène: 20 bells that turn in
a circle, on the first Sunday of each month from 14:00 to 15:00
and Christmas week. One of the stars of the Tarn
campanology heritage.
• Be amazed by the magnificent chapel of Notre-Dame de
l’Auder, attached to the priory of Ambialet, an iconic site of early
Romanesque art in Occitanie; open year-round.
• Roam the hills of Alban and discover "Envols", at Rayssac,
a marquetry workshop.

la Mode, Lapérouse, Raphaël Cordoba, Saut du Tarn).
• Paddle your canoe between Trébas and Ambialet as far
as Avalats or sail on the Tarn in a gabarre (sailing barge).
