                      On March 23rd, our BFPS Student Leadership Team joined Daniel Zarovski of 360 Kids to
                                                              better understand the needs of our homeless
                                                              youth in York Region.

                        Due to inappropriate use of Google Chat across YRDSB, the following recommendations are
                        being implemented:

                           ●   Kindergarten to Grade 5 Elementary students will no longer have access to Google
Updates to use of              Chat. This includes all students in EVS as well as Face-to-Face schools.

                           ●   Grades 6 - 8 Elementary students and all Secondary students will have access to
                               Google Chat, with the understanding that students are expected to follow the
                               Information Technology Acceptable Use Agreement.

                        • Prior to entering the school, review/complete the self-assessment as per the posted
                        self-screening poster (COVID-19 School and Child-Care Screening Tool)

                        • Start visit at the office and complete the visitor sign-in process with the main office staff

March 31, 2021   All Beynon Fields P.S. community members are welcome to join meetings. Our next VIRTUAL
                 School Council meeting will take place on March 31, 2021.

                 We understand that COVID 19 may have heightened anxieties for students and families.
