*S6M-04385 Meghan Gallacher: Wishaw Walkers Raise Thousands of Pounds Thanks to
Kiltwalk—That the Parliament recognises the DreamMaker Foundation for completing the Kiltwalk
and raising thousands of pounds to help children with life-limiting illnesses across Lanarkshire;
notes that participants included around 40 walkers from Wishaw and around 25 others from across
Lanarkshire, and further notes that an estimated crowd of more than 10,000 people took part in
the Kiltwalk 2022 and raised a grand total of £3 million for charities across Scotland.

*S6M-04383 Gillian Mackay: Motherwell FC Qualify for the UEFA Europa Conference
League—That the Parliament congratulations Motherwell Football Club on qualifying for the UEFA
Europa Conference League; understands that this will be the 11th season that the Steelmen have
qualified for Europe and that their first match of the campaign will be their 34th European fixture to
date; considers that this is a fantastic achievement for Graham Alexander, the players, staff and
supporters of Motherwell FC, and wishes them all the very best on their travels and for next
season.

bathing quality by SEPA; very much appreciates the efforts of everyone in the group in making a
difference to the local environment; thanks Annie McIndoe for leading the clean-up campaign, and
wishes the group all the best for its future efforts to keep the rating and to bring water sports to the

*S6M-04381 Jackie Baillie: Community Impact of West Dunbartonshire Group Recognised
on Awards Shortlist —That the Parliament commends West Dunbartonshire Community
Foodshare on being shortlisted in the Community Action category in the Scottish Council for
Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) 2022 Scottish Charity Awards; understands that the Community
Action award commemorates community-led groups and organisations that are making a big

the theme this year being based on the UN Sustainable Development Goal 15 "Life on Land";
understands that the event is designed for 1,250 Primary 5 children from all 65 schools in the
Scottish Borders to increase their understanding of rural skills and life, by learning about things
like wool production, beekeeping, the importance of soil, cereals, milking, trees, woodland, stick-
making, animals both domestic and farmed, including an exhibition of the survival of rare breeds,
as well as learning about healthy eating, seasonal foods and the significance of food miles; notes
that it is hoped that, as a result of this, the children are better informed about the landscape
around them, the importance of looking after the environment and how it impacts on their own
wellbeing and health; recognises that the event is made possible by around 170 teachers, 50
different demonstrations involving at least 250 people, plus over 150 stewards, as well as the
support of the Scottish Borders Council, Fallago Fund, BASF, and local charities who all play a
critical part in supporting the BUAS in delivering this event, and hopes all attending enjoy their
