1Come on an adventure with
Dogs Trust
and Snoopy
Dogs Trust, in collaboration with Peanuts,
is excited to host their first art trail in
Cardiff, a spectacular public art event
that will snoop its way across the city in
autumn 2021.
For 10 weeks the city’s streets and open
spaces will become home to a series of
intricately decorated Snoopy sculptures,
each designed by local, regional and
national artists, designers and illustrators:
both well-known favourites and newly
emerging talent.
Each sculpture will be sponsored by
a business or individual and have its
own tale to tell, many showcasing
Cardiff’s wealth of artistic talent whilst
celebrating the vibrance, culture and
creativity that the city has to offer.
This project is presented by Dogs Trust
in collaboration with Peanuts, owners
of Snoopy and Wild in Art - a leading
creative producer of spectacular,
mass-appeal public art events.
2Our
Learning
Programme
Alongside the main trail, our learning
programme invites schools and youth
organisations to get involved by
adopting and designing their very own
Snoopy sculpture.
Your pawsome pals will be displayed
inside venues across the city, to be
enjoyed by both their creators and the
wider public.
Cardiff will be transformed into a city-
wide, free to view art event which will
ultimately bring significant social and
economic benefits to the city and the
region.
Following the detachment and distancing
of 2020, what better way to bring
our communities back together than
by working collaboratively to create
something awe inspiring and smile
inducing across our city? It will encourage
residents to re-explore the hidden
gems of their own city, supporting their
own physical and mental wellbeing and
creating a sense of togetherness across
our locality.

4Get your paws messy
The project will allow young people to
harness and unleash their creativity,
whilst promoting wellbeing and an active
lifestyle. It can facilitate discussions on
important topics – from environmental
issues and the natural world, to
citizenship, abandonment and animal
cruelty.
After getting your paws messy in
the classroom, see your Snoopy
masterpiece on the public trail alongside
contemporary artists and high-profile
exhibits in the city’s museums, libraries,

trail ends your Snoopy will return to
their forever home, a pawfect legacy to
display proudly at your school.

7About
Dogs Trust
We’re for dogs.
For the scruffiest mutts, the handsomest hounds, the most faithful of
faithful friends.
We’re for those waggy tails, the talkative ears, and eyes that never judge.
But not every dog gets back the love they need. So we’re changing that
w– with your help.
When a dog is in distress, we care for them. When a dog needs a home,
we find them a loving family. But we don’t just love dogs, we love the
people who love them too. When an owner needs a helping hand (or paw),
or they just can’t cope - we’re ready to step in.
For every dog, for every owner, we’re by their side through thick and thin
– throughout their lives. Because the bond they have is special to us. It
changes lives, making each day happier and more complete.
That’s why we believe A dog is for life.®
We’re the leading experts in dog welfare. We never put a healthy dog down.
We give a second chance at a brighter future with new loving and caring owners.
We operate a UK network of 20 pioneering dog rehoming centres, caring for over 14,000
dogs across the UK each year. In Wales, we have had a centre in Bridgend for over 50
years and our 21st centre is due to open in Cardiff in summer 2021.
