Current Chief Joseph / School of Choice Families: Intent to Re-Enroll for 2020-2021 The time has come for Chief Joseph School of the Arts to begin planning for the space and staff need- ed for the 2020-2021 school year. To assist the planning process, we need a completed Intent to Re- Enroll Survey from each student – this survey represents a commitment from you (for your student) indicating whether or not you are planning for your child to continue at Chief Joseph for 2020-21. Due to a large number of lottery applications we receive each year, we want to be certain that we retain a seat for your child. This year we are ONLY using an online survey to collect this information. The link to the survey is found on Chief Joseph’s home page. Your survey responses are a commitment and any later change does have an impact on class size and program availability. Important information to understand: This survey must be submitted no later than January 9, 2020, in order to confirm your child’s placement. A separate “Intent to Re-Enroll” survey must be completed for each child in your family. We require the “Intent to Re-Enroll” survey be completed online and cannot accept phone confir- mations. If you need assistance completing this survey, please contact the school to arrange to use a school computer with staff help. Your failure to complete the survey will forfeit your child’s placement at Chief Joseph. Please Note: If your home address is outside of the West Ada School district boundary, your current student(s) may continue to attend Chief Joseph School of the Arts pending space available; priority is given to families living within the West Ada boundary. All out-of district students must complete an Out-of-District Transfer application by March 1, 2020 and receive approval from a West Ada Regional Director. The application can be found on our district website (click on the “Parents and Students” tab, then “Registration and Forms” on the westada.org website). A paper copy can also be obtained from the school office. THANK YOU FOR COMPLETING THE SURVEY BEFORE JANUARY 9!
