Concorde G-BBDG has been superbly restored and resides at Brooklands Museum.
Over thirty per cent of every Concorde airframe, British and French, was built here
                - more than at any other location - so it can truly be said that
Brooklands is the Home of Concorde.
Sadly, this beautiful lady no longer flies, but we can now offer you the next best thing
in our exclusive programme of scheduled Concorde Champagne Days.
In addition to the Champagne Flight, lunch will be a re-creation of an actual Concorde
menu and will be taken with Capt. Mike Bannister, British Airways Chief Concorde Pilot,
and, after your meal, he will give a fascinating Concorde presentation.
Your day with Concorde will also include a brief visit to the Concorde Simulator
                       - the only one in the world open to the public!
If you flew Concorde in the past, we would be delighted to welcome you on board again.
If you never had the opportunity, now is the time to take your seat!

Moving in to the front cabin, it will be time for your ‘flight’!
Taking your place in one of the famous grey leather
Concorde seats, you will be served a glass of
champagne before ‘take-off’.
After ‘landing’ you will be invited by Capt.
Bannister to join him on the Flight Deck and to sit in
the pilot’s seat - time for a very special and memorable
photograph! Don’t forget your camera!
On disembarkation, you will be able to see the Concorde
Simulator on which all British Airways pilots were trained.
Our Concorde Captain’s Lunch will take place in the
Blue Bird Room of the Clubhouse and Capt. Bannister
will give a Concorde talk and video presentation.
Finally, a Concorde Flight Certificate, signed by Capt.
Bannister, will be your permanent reminder of a very
special day with Concorde. The Blue Bird Room

“Speedbird Two... for the last time,
you’re cleared to land on two-seven right.
We’ve all enjoyed you over the years.
From ATC, best wishes from us all.
                                  Bye-bye.”

These were the farewell words from London Air Traffic Control
to Capt. Mike Bannister shortly before he landed Concorde G-BOAG
at London Heathrow at 16.06 on October 24, 2003,
They marked the end of the supersonic passenger era.
It was a sad day and Capt. Bannister said, “Our shrinking world just got a little bigger,”
At Brooklands we don’t dwell on that sadness
for we are committed to keeping the Concorde dream alive,
and to ensuring that the British public may continue enjoy the enduring aura
of Concorde’s blend of power with luxury, and speed with grace.
To commemorate the ten years since that day at Heathrow,
and to celebrate the Concorde dream,
we have organised a once-in-a-lifetime day for you to
meet Capt. Mike Bannister, and most of the members of the crew
              who flew those last 100 passengers from New York to London;
to enjoy a Champagne ‘flight’ on board Concorde and
to attend the Captains’ Celebration Lunch - with the menu re-created from that final flight!
On that day in 2003 the crew were serving Champagne to the likes of Lord Colin Marshall,
Joan Collins, Jeremy Clarkson, David Frost, Tony Benn, and Bernie Ecclestone,
Ten years later they will be popping the corks for you!
