The kissing booth book series in order

Powered by Reelgood Let’s get this out of the way: There is no Kissing Booth 3 book. I know. It’s confusing. The Kissing Booth and The Kissing Booth 2—the teen romance starring Joey King as a high school girl who falls in love with her best friend’s brother—are both based on novels by author Beth Reekles. The Kissing Booth was published in 2012,
and its sequel, Going the Distance, was published in 2020. In 2018, Netflix adapted the first book into a movie of the same name. It was a hit. Last Friday, the streaming service released the sequel film, based on Reekles’s sequel novel. Then, on Sunday, Netflix announced The Kissing Booth 3 had been filmed in secret and will premiere on the
streaming service in 2021. So, naturally, Kissing Booth fans want to know: Where can I read The Kissing Booth 3 book? Unfortunately, the answer is: nowhere. You cannot read The Kissing Booth 3 book, because it does not exist. However, you can read the two short stories published by Reekles, The Beach House and The Kissing Booth: Road Trip!,
both of which take place during the first and second book. How many Kissing Booth books are there? There are two full-length Kissing Booth novels: The Kissing Booth, published in 2012; and Going The Distance, published in 2020. There are also two Kissing Booth short stories: The Beach House and The Kissing Booth: Road Trip!. There is no The
Kissing Book 3 book. What is The Kissing Booth: Road Trip summary? The Kissing Booth: Road Trip! is a 100-page short story that Reekles wrote and published for World Book Day 2020. It takes place during the events of Book 2, when Elle (played by Joey King, in the films) decides to take a road trip with her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney) to visit her
bad-boy boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) at Harvard. It’s not a full-length novel by any means—just a fun little filler story published for a charity event. The plot of The Kissing Booth: Road Trip! is essentially just Elle and Lee visiting different states, as they cross the country to go visit Noah. It takes place before Elle graduates, and before she gets her
acceptance letters to college. While it’s possible that some of the details of the road trip might end up in The Kissing Booth 3 movie, it will not serve as the basis of the film in the same way that the first two Kissing Booth books did for The Kissing Booth and The Kissing Booth 2 movies. What is The Beach House? Before The Kissing Booth: Road Trip!,
Reekles wrote another short story in the Kissing Booth Cinematic Universe—or the KBCU, as I like to call it—called The Beach House (The Kissing Booth #1.5). It’s a companion novella to The Kissing Booth that takes place the summer after The Kissing Booth and before The Kissing Booth 2, and you can read it on Wattpad. What is The Kissing Booth
3 plot? Here is the official Kissing Booth 3 movie plot synopsis, from Netflix: It’s the summer before Elle (Joey King) heads to college, and she has a secret: She got into both Harvard, where her dreamy boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) goes, and Berkeley, where her BFF Lee (Joel Courtney) is going. Which path will Elle choose? Given that it’s the
summertime, Elle probably won’t be taking a road trip to visit Noah at Harvard. The Kissing Booth 2 movie covered pretty much everything in The Kissing Booth 2 book, so it sounds like this will be a new original story from director Vince Marcello, who co-wrote the script with Jay Arnold. You can also watch a very brief clip from The Kissing Booth 3,
which was shared by Reekles and Marcello at the end of the The Kissing Booth cast YouTube live stream on Sunday. This is pure speculation, but I’m guessing, based on that Kissing Booth 2 ending, that Elle’s new love interest, Marco (played by Taylor Zakhar Perez) won’t give up on her. After all, even though Elle picked Noah, Marco said Elle was
worth fighting for. Let the love triangle continue! Watch The Kissing Booth 2 on Netflix Joey King Netflix The Kissing Booth 3 The Kissing Booth 3 is arriving on Netflix on August 11 to bring an end to the hugely popular series, but will it have a happy ending?Elle (Joey King) has one major dilemma facing her in the threequel as she has to decide
which college to go to (Berkeley or Harvard), and the decision is sure to have a major impact on her relationship with Noah (Joel Elordi) and her friendship with Lee (Joel Courtney). At least fans haven't had to wait too long for the third movie to arrive as Netflix confirmed The Kissing Booth 3 shortly after the sequel's release in July 2020. The two
movies were filmed back-to-back and The Kissing Booth 3 is arriving a little over a year later. Marcos Cruz/Netflix "It's very emotional to say goodbye to a character you've been playing for this many years, and also playing this character through such important moments in my life," King told The Nerds of Colour about the final movie."I'm sad, but I
also feel this bittersweet sense that I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. I learned so much from playing her and from being in these movies and from all the wonderful friends I've made along the way. "It's the end of an era. It's sad, but it's beautiful too."We imagine there will be tears for fans as Elle and Noah's love story comes to an end, so
to prepare for it, here's everything you need to know about The Kissing Booth 3.Kissing Booth 3 release date: When time will The Kissing Booth 3 be on Netflix? The Kissing Booth 3 will be released on Netflix worldwide on Wednesday, August 11 at 12am PT and 3am ET in the US, which makes it 8am in the UK and the respective time in whichever
country you're watching in. It's a little over 110 minutes long, so if you're staying up in the US, get the snacks in for a late night or make sure to set your alarm in the UK.Kissing Booth 3 trailer: Watch The Kissing Booth 3 trailer here!Netflix released the trailer for The Kissing Booth 3 on July 6, giving more insight into Elle's eventful summer before
college. It seems that Elle and Lee have always had a "Beach Bucket List" of all the things they wanted to do together before going to college and since it's their last summer at the beach house, this is their last chance to complete it.However, it seems the time they're spending together on it has an impact on Elle's relationship with Noah, potentially
opening the door for Marco to swoop in after he meets her again while she's working her summer job. Will Elle make a decision for herself after spending so long worrying about others? We shall find out. This isn't actually the first footage we've seen from the movie though as along with the surprise announcement last July, Netflix treated fans to a
scene from the threequel of Elle chilling out when she ignores a call from the Harvard admissions office. This content is imported from YouTube. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site. Take it away official synopsis: "It's the summer before Elle heads to college, and
she's facing the hardest decision of her life: whether to move across the country with her dreamy boyfriend Noah or fulfill her lifelong promise to go to college with her BFF Lee. Whose heart will Elle break as The Kissing Booth trilogy comes to an end?"Talking about the cliffhanger ending to the second movie, Joey King said: "She's really good at
getting herself into a pickle, that's for sure..."Elle has a lot of figuring out to do, and she figures out a lot during this movie. And then, in the end, she gives herself even more figuring out to do, which is crazy. We don't know what's going to happen... I don't know why she does that." Marcos CruzNetflix But where will she choose? Elle managed to
patch things up with Lee after lying to him about applying elsewhere, but can her relationship with Noah survive if she doesn't go to Harvard? There is a Kissing Booth novella written by Beth Reekles called Road Trip, but unfortunately for fans, it takes place during the timeline of the sequel, so there are no answers to be found there. So fans will just
have to watch the third movie on Netflix to see how it all plays out and what decisions Elle will make.Reekles is releasing a third Kissing Booth book, but it's set for release on August 12 (the day after the movie), so she's clearly not giving any spoilers away for fans desperate to know how Elle and Noah's love story ends. Kissing Booth 3 cast: Who's
coming back for The Kissing Booth 3?Along with the surprise announcement of the third movie, it was confirmed that all of the main cast will be back. So that's Joey King as Elle Evans, Jacob Elordi as Noah Flynn and Meganne Young as Rachel back in the role, as well as Molly Ringwald as Noah and Lee's mother Sara and Maisie Richardson-Sellers as
Noah's Harvard friend Chloe. As we discovered in the sequel, Chloe has no romantic intentions with Noah and the whole earring was just a misunderstanding.Taylor Perez will also be back as Marco and he's likely to cause some trouble for Elle and Noah as he still holds feelings for Elle. At graduation, his friend is seen telling him that Elle isn't worth
it, only for Marco to respond when his friend has gone: "Yes, she is." Marcos CruzNetflix Perez confirmed that he wants the third film to give "justice for Marco" in terms of his courtship of Elle.Elordi is firmly in camp Noah though, unsurprisingly, saying: "I feel like if you get told no, you should take the no, you know? Take the L man, give up. Like,
leave her alone, you know?" The Kissing Booth and The Kissing Booth 2 are now available to watch on Netflix, while The Kissing Booth 3 will be released on August 11. You may be able to find more information about this and similar content at piano.io The first novel, titled "The Kissing Booth," was released in 2012, which meant that the movie, which came out in 2018, had a source material to draw from. "Going The Distance," the second book in the series from Reekles, was released on January 2, 2020, ahead of the
premiere of "The Kissing Booth 2" on Netflix later that year on July 24. However, the third book, titled "One Last Time," is set to hit bookshelves on August 17 (via Refinery29), following the premiere of "The Kissing Booth 3" on Netflix, which made its debut on the streaming platform on August 11. However, fans of the book series can expect the third
entry to be fairly close to the movie. Reekles was involved with the film's production and based the novel on the movie itself. On an Instagram post in September 2020, Reekles wrote, "TKB3: One Last Time is based on the script of the third movie." She added that she was "able to work closely" with Netflix on the film. Reekles' involvement and the
praise for the third film bodes well for fans of the movie series enjoying the books, as well as fans of the book series enjoying the movie. "The Kissing Booth 3" is currently available to stream on Netflix, along with "The Kissing Booth" and "The Kissing Booth 2." Spoilers are ahead. The Kissing Booth first debuted on Netflix back in May 2018 and made
the world collectively feel like a teenager again. From secret crushes to lifelong friendships being put to the test, it was impossible not to immerse ourselves in some good old-fashioned high school drama. But these characters and storylines didn’t just come out of nowhere. The Kissing Booth is based on Beth Reekles' books series, which has served as
a helpful guideline as to where Elle Evans’ journey will wind up at the end of all this. However, like so many other adaptations that have come before it, The Kissing Booth movies have strayed from their book counterparts in significant ways. But now that the third installment has hit Netflix, it's a bit harder to track the differences between The Kissing
Booth 3 on screen and in the book — that is, unless you’ve got insider intel. It’s rare, but Hollywood franchises sometimes surpass their source material — Game of Thrones, anyone? Such is the case for The Kissing Booth saga. Back in September 2020, Reekles confirmed via Instagram that a third novel, titled The Kissing Booth 3: One Last Time, was
officially underway and would be released at the same time as the movie. However, the book’s publication date is set for August 17.And in a reversal of roles, the final Kissing Booth book is actually based on the script for the third film. “TKB3: One Last Time is based on the script of the third movie and will be released in time with the movie next
year!” she wrote on Instagram. “I was able to work closely with Netflix for TKB3 and though I can’t say anything yet on the storyline (sorry!) I will tell you... it’s gonna be totally awesome. I really hope you guys love it, too.”At the end of The Kissing Booth 3, Elle decided not to go to Harvard or Berkeley. Instead, she enrolled at the University of
Southern California (USC) for video game design, allowing her to finally focus on her own desires and ambitions rather than trying to appease everyone else around her. And while Elle and Noah ended up breaking up in the process, a six-year time jump found them reconnecting at the school’s spring carnival — right in front of the kissing booth, no
less. Few words were spoken and they both went their separate ways for the time being, though the spark was still there, indicating that a rekindled romance could very well be on the horizon.Given that the book is based on the script, it would be very surprising if the novel didn’t come to the same conclusion, with the hope of a Noah and Elle
reconciliation in the air. The journey to that point may look a little different — in the books, Elle never even applied to Harvard and simply got accepted to Berkeley — but the end will most likely arrive at the same place. It all started at a kissing booth, so it’s only fitting for that to be where Elle’s journey comes to a close. The Kissing Booth 3 is finally
here, but inquiring minds ( ) want to know what's next for the franchise. Will there be a fourth installation? Will we get to see what happens when Elle goes to college? While Netflix hasn’t confirmed if The Kissing Booth will return a fourth time around and certain cast members have said their farewells, some details have surfaced about the
possibility of KB4. Here’s everything we know so far.Kissing Booth leading lady Joey King said that KB3 was her "last time" in the kissing booth. Joey wrote, "My first time at the booth, and my last time. 5 years apart" in a touching Instagram post. She followed up with a heartfelt tribute to Elle. "Thank you Elle, I’ve loved being you. And thank you to
everyone who had a hand in making these movies what they are." Shutting down questions about another sequel, she added, "The end of an era, excuse me while I go sob in a corner somewhere." web site. "This is really the last kiss," he said.Joel Courtney confirmed the end of The Kissing Booth on Instagram as well.Sharing his excitement for the latest installment, he wrote, "I can’t verbally describe how EXCITED I am for you all to see the movie and I hope you really like it." Dishing on his faves, he continued, "#3 is my favorite from the
trilogy Anyway, watch #1 and then #2 and then stream the third and final installment of The Kissing Booth trilogy tonight!" This content is imported from Instagram. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site. There has been a smidge of hope for a spin-off, if you look at
author Beth Reekles' catalog. Along with the three main Kissing Booth installments, author Beth Reekles penned two spin-offs, The Kissing Booth Road Trip and The Beach House (A Kissing Booth Story). Fingers crossed, one or either of these gets picked up! Despite her assertion that the series has ended, Joey did share some apprehension about
Elle's journey.During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she offered, "Elle has a lot of figuring out to do... in the end, she gives herself even more figuring out to do, which is crazy. We don't know what's going to happen... I don't know why she does that." She even shared her thoughts on a possible future for Elle and Noah. "Things change,
things happen, and I don't know where their story will take them." This content is created and maintained by a third party, and imported onto this page to help users provide their email addresses. You may be able to find more information about this and similar content at piano.io
