Welcome to Dandie Week 2021. Your show committee has planned an ex-
citing Dandie experience for everyone from “newbies to the breed” to
“veterans”. Please take a few minutes to review the schedule of events and
pay close attention to deadlines, ordering Instructions and contact infor-
mation for all questions.

Show Basics
The 5 dog shows which make up the 2020 and 2021 Nationals set of shows will be held at the
Orlando County Convention Center, N/S Building, 9899 International Drive, Orlando, Florida. In
addition to the Designated National Specialty on Thursday and the Independent National Specialty
on Friday, the DDTCA will support the entry of Dandie Dinmont Terriers at the Tuesday and
Wednesday all-breed shows.

Reserved grooming and RV Parking reservations - See Premium list for the all-breed shows - Cen-
tral Florida Kennel Club. The DDTCA is not involved with either of these reservations.

Host Hotel
Due to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic, there is no host hotel, annual meeting or ban-
quet this year. The all-breed club premium lists contain a list of area hotels that allow dogs.

Judges Education and Ringside Mentoring
Note: attendance at this program is limited to prospective judges who have completed the Canine
College Dandie Dinmont breed test, have a judge’s number from AKC or other registry, and are plan-
ning to apply for the breed, or, are approved judges.
Judges Education Seminar will be held Wednesday, December 15 at 3:00 pm at the show site. Check
ringside for the exact room assignment. Ringside mentoring offered during Regular Classes on
Thursday and Friday. Seminar Fee is $25.00 payable to DDTCA. Please mail to Sandra Pretari Hick-

neck shirts. These shirts are light enough for sunny Florida but also practical wear for the cooler

These light blue shirts are available on a pre-order only basis; order deadline is November 1, 2021.
Delivery will be at the first specialty on Thursday December 16, or, via mail prior to the specialty
week for an additional fee. The shirts are priced at $30.00 per shirt, regardless of size.

CATALOG ADVERTISING
The catalog for the 2021 Specialty will be a separate catalog as this show is independent. This is
your opportunity to share your dog’s accomplishments, brag about new puppies or just simply say
“HI!” to the Dandie Dinmont community.
Full page catalog advertisement pages are available. Cost is $50 per page, which includes one photo
per page. Absolute deadline is November 1, 2021. Any advertisements received after that date will
be returned. Layout size for the full page is 4 ½” wide by 7 1/2” tall. Electronic submission of .tif
or.jpg files preferred. Hardcopy is also acceptable. If submitting original photograph with ad copy,
please label the photograph with name and mailing address information. Send payment, and copy/

CATALOG ORDERS
To be sure you can purchase a show catalog for the 2021 Specialty, pre-order your catalog now on
the DDTCA website, www.ddtca.org. Only a very limited number of catalogs will be available for
purchase at the Friday show. The cost is $10.00 on the website for unmarked catalogs distributed at
the show. Marked catalogs after the show are priced at $15.00, which includes mailing. Deadline for
orders is November 1, 2021.
