Don’t Wait! Nothing cancels programs/camps more than waiting until the last minute to register, as
they may get cancelled due to low enrollment. Vendors will cancel a program several days before the
start date if enrollment is low. Register at www.eastonrec.com

PAYMENT
We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. All checks should be made out to: “Easton Park & Rec”.
NON-RESIDENT
Non-residents can register for most Easton Park & Rec programs/camps (except where noted)
at an additional 10% fee, when space is available.
Easton employees residing out of town can register at the resident rate.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Children must meet the age requirement before the session of the program/camp for which they are registered,
proof of age may be required.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Any program/camp may be cancelled for insufficient enrollment. All fees would then be credited or refunded. In
case of inclement weather, you will also receive an email ASAP from Eastonrec.com.

*NEW* LATE REGISTRATION POLICY
Our program registration closes the same day the program starts, unless otherwise noted. For Sunshine Day Camp
you have until 12:00pm the Friday before to register. If the registration deadline has passed for a program/Day
Camp and there is still availability, you will be assessed a $10.00 administrative fee on top of the program fee.
Effective Date: 8/01/19. The Easton Arts Center fee is 10%. Effective Date: 6/26/19.
REFUND POLICY / RETURN CHECKS
If any program/camp is cancelled by Park & Rec, you will receive an email ASAP from Eastonrec.com.
All fees would then be credited or refunded. If a withdrawal occurs before the start of a program, you will receive a
full credit or refund. After the program starts, no refunds will be issued. A prorated credit may be issued
depending on the reason for withdrawal. Requests for refund or credit due to medical reasons will be handled on
an individual basis. If Easton schools are cancelled, then all recreation programs held in the schools are also
cancelled. This information will also be posted on our Facebook page and Twitter.

We will be happy to switch weeks of Day Camp and Adventure Camp (if available), but no refunds will be given. No

PICTURES
During the course of our programs/camps we may be, at times, taking photos of the activities and its participants.
By attending or participating in a program/camp, you are giving your permission to take and publish photos of
your children. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, you must submit this request in writing

Aspetuck Park: 369 Black Rock Road, Easton
Aspetuck Park offers a hiking trail, picnic area, playground, beach area (no lifeguard), Little League Field and a T-
Ball field. A picturesque area right across from the Blue Bird Café, to fish or spend a beautiful afternoon.
Easton Country Day Complex (ECD): 660 Morehouse Road, Easton
Located behind the OLD Samuel Staples School, this location has a walking track, playscape, a Little League Field
(front) and a newly renovated 50/70 Baseball Field.
Dog Park: 366 Sport Hill Road, Easton
Come hangout with your furry friend, and watch them run and play with other puppies. The location has a new
sunshade installed! All dogs must be licensed and leashed until they enter the park and gate is closed. We supply
the dog bags, so we ask that you clean up after your furry friend!
Helen Keller Park: 366 Sport Hill Road, Easton
Come visit our New Friends Playground located here! You can also find a Basketball Court (after-school hours
only), Pond Field, Softball/T-Ball Field, and our Tennis Courts. This is all located in front of Helen Keller Middle
School.
Morehouse Park: 515 Morehouse Road, Easton
This location is next to the Samuel Staples Elementary School, and houses many athletic fields. Field of Dreams
(FOD Baseball Field), the Morehouse Pavilion, Morehouse Soccer, and Staples Soccer fields.
Veteran’s Park: 366 Sport Hill Road, Easton
Lower Veteran’s Park houses our Football Field, Babe Ruth Baseball Field along with Soccer Fields. Upper
Veteran’s Park also houses another Soccer Field.
EASTON FACILITY AND FIELD RENTALS
Aspetuck Park: Rental fee is $50.00 (resident) per day/$100.00 (non-resident) per day. A Facility Use Application
needs to be filled out and emailed to the Park and Rec office for approval.
Morehouse Pavilion: Rental fee is $50.00 (resident) per day/$100.00 (non-resident) per day. A Facility Use
Application needs to be filled out and returned to the Park and Rec office for a signature approval.
Commercial Rental: Refer to Commercial Facility Use Application found on our website.

CRAFTY KIDS OUTDOOR ARTS & CRAFTS CAMP
Join Easton Park and Recreation & Miss Keysha again for this summer’s Arts & Crafts Camp! Projects to
be crafted will include but are not limited to beadwork, painting, tie-dye, and much more! Students
should wear play clothes and bring a nut-free snack to camp daily. Tuesdays will be tie-dye day, bring
white cotton t-shirts, socks, pillowcases, etc.

ADVENTURE CAMP

Adventure Camp is for those campers entering Grade 6 – entering Grade 10.
Fee for the weekly camp is $350, space is limited to 12 campers per week.

Looking for a little adventure this summer? Then join us for just that! Adventure based field trips offering
campers the opportunity to experience the outdoors doing activities that will challenge you and keep you active
this summer. We will be traveling to locations around the state via van. Activities that will be offered throughout
the sessions will be; hiking, tubing, rock climbing, amusement parks, ropes courses, beach days, laser tag and a
whole lot more.
We will be traveling daily, you will be provided with a weekly itinerary prior to your time at camp.

making friends at our Sunshine Day Camp held at Aspetuck Park. Our Day Camp offers a variety of
activities including arts & crafts, archery, funyaks and weekly special events. Each week will offer at least
2 themed days, snow cones or the ice-cream truck on Fridays!
Sunshine Day Camp is for those campers entering grade K through entering grade 6.
Camp runs from 9:00am-2:00pm, with the option to join our TREEHOUSE GANG
from 2:00pm-5:00pm (please see next page).

For those campers who can’t get enough of Easton Sunshine Day Camp, come join our Tree House Gang
and spend afternoons with us. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in numerous camp
activities including sports, arts and crafts, nature projects, etc. This camp runs in conjunction with the
Easton Sunshine Day Camp–see sessions under day camp.
Tree House Gang can be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Sign up for the whole week or for any day as needed. Individual days must be done through camp
Director and cannot be added online. Payment for individual days must be paid by Friday of the
week attending. Payment can be made with check or contact the Park & Rec office to pay via
credit card (203)268-7200. No cash accepted at camp.

CAS Community Camps focus on creating a fun learning environment while fostering a love for the game
through conditioned practices & small-sided games. The main objectives are to combine the overall

into the key components of soccer (Please provide jersey size when registering). Community Camp
Themes: Ball Mastery, Passing & Receiving, Shooting & Finishing. Each player will receive a soccer ball

Revolution United FC brings you the premier coaching experience. This camp is a great opportunity for all

BRING THE HOOPLA CAMP!
“Bring the Hoopla” brings the FUN back into fitness! In this outdoors, high-energy (hula) hoop program,
we combine physical fitness with a variety of hoop games that build stamina and focus, foster team-
building, leadership and cooperative play.
We teach on and off body hoop tricks while enjoying age-appropriate music and creating a welcoming
environment where creativity and self-expression are encouraged. We use the hoops as a form of play,
dance and exercise and we build self-confidence through movement! There is never a dull moment in this
class! This is the perfect social distancing activity for boys and girls.

3! 2! 1! BLAST OFF with our NASA-designed space camp! Explore outer space like a real astronaut! Discover

beyond! Astronauts-in-training will use laser beams, create a cool comet, study stars and moons close up, and
witness an out of this world rocket launch! Campers will receive a Mad Science Lab Coat, goggles, and
specially designed NASA take homes to help extend learning at home!

FLAG FOOTBALL
Skyhawks Flag Football is the perfect program for young athletes who want a complete introduction to
“America’s Game” or for those who simply want to brush up on their skills in preparation for league play.
Through our “skill of the day” activities, campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the
core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning – all presented in a fun
and positive environment. Skyhawks Flag Football is recommended for beginning to intermediate
athletes. The week ends with the Skyhawks Super Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their

SUMMER JUNIOR TENNIS CAMP

Camp is divided by grade and ability level.
Campers should bring a mask, racquet, nut-free snack & water bottle to camp each day.
Camp is divided by age & ability: Red Ralliers; Orange Crush and Green Baseliners! Each day of camp
players are introduced to a different “stroke of the day” including the forehand, backhand, serve, and
volley. This camp also offers an optional cross-training component to enhance players’ coordination and
endurance. Off court games such as hoccer, soccer, and dodge ball will be played. Match Play will be
offered as an option in addition to field games. USTA 10 and under tennis Match Play, designed for the
junior player, will be played on a modified court with tennis balls designed for their specific skill level.
This provides players with an opportunity to play ‘real’ tennis and learn the rules of the games!

For Sunshine Day Camp
Counselors in Training (CIT’S) gain valuable training and experience by providing support to instructors
and group leaders at camp. This program is for Easton teens, ages 14-15 who want to further develop
their leadership and communication skills as well as gain experience in planning and instruction of
activities for young children. All applicants must be 14 by June 1, 2021 and must remain 15 until
August 31, 2021. Teens turning 16 over the summer are too old to apply.
We are asking all applicants to write an essay explaining why they should be a CIT at Easton
Sunshine Day Camp. Essays must be a minimum of 300 words. Please email to:
lfarasciano@eastonct.gov by April 23, 2021. Acceptance into the program is based on an
application and essay.
CIT’s will have to commit to a 1-week session and will be paid a stipend of $100.00 per week.

Easton families are welcome to attend our annual Fishing
Derby at Easton Aspetuck Park. Bring you family, chairs,
snacks and your fishing poles. We will provide the live
worms. Prizes will be awarded in 3 categories.
~ Fishing begins at 9:30am, ends at 12:00pm
~ Prizes will be awarded at 12:10pm
~ Ages 15 and under.
~ Open to Easton residents only.
