Cute coffee shops that I love to study in when not at the Midtown is a college town. There's a bus system that's
library. Since Midtown attracts a younger crowd I see pretty developed compared to a lot of places, but it is

There's stores and restaurants everywhere you turn. Small town with an overcrowded 1 mile stretch of new

Located southeast of campus, South
Gainesville is less populated and offers a range

looking to live outside of the UF bubble. That
said, since UF Law is on the north end of
campus, your commute won't be as short as it
is from Midtown or Downtown.

included. Good water pressure in the shower. Always plenty of
parking. Only issue is the distance from school. Only about 4-5
miles from campus but sometimes morning traffic can make the

“The Bartram is a gem in Gainesville. Although it might be a little
bit higher rent than some other properties, the amenities are
completely worth it: the pools, the gym, the clubhouse (with
study space and free coffee), the dog park and dog bath, secure
parking garage, and the staff are constantly cleaning/courteous/
responsive to all requests. Also the 2/2 floorplan is spacious and
great for roommates.”

friendly and helpful. The property manager stays on top of the
maintenance crew for jobs. Maintenance will come out typically
within the next day or even the day you submit your work order.
They completely rebuilt a wooden staircase in a day! There's a
