Mission Statement
ECCO will strive for an optimisation of care for patients with IBD in
all aspects.
As part of this mission ECCO will adopt and further all efforts

E-QUALITY

 ECCO Quality of Care Project

Project Framework:
• Intended to ultimately improve the quality of care of patients living
  with IBD
• Building on the ECCO Position Statement on Quality of Care Standards
in IBD and the UR-CARE database
• First step: Identifying gaps between quality standards as defined by
ECCO Statements and current practice in daily clinical care
• Second step: Fill the identified gaps with educational tools and/or
  activities
• Quality standards identified in three main domains: Structure, Process
  and Outcomes

Keep an eye on the first results to come!
