wheels courts, tennis facilities and golf courses,
the Parks, Recreation and Commercial Facilities
Department wants to help you enjoy Mesa to the

It is unlawful to conduct any of the following activities in Mesa
parks or retention basins:
• Smoking under picnic ramadas
• Discarding litter or trash
• Having unleashed dogs in the park
(except in designated off-leash dog areas)
• Hitting golf balls or shooting arrows
• Using any wind craft or boats
• Driving motorized vehicles in non-designated areas
• Using model aircraft, boats or cars without permission
• Repairing or maintaining vehicles
• Throwing or discarding any object or substance into lake or • Using materials other than charcoal for barbecue grills

Mesa Parks and Recreation offers two off-leash dog areas.
Quail Run Park, 4155 E. Virginia.

Countryside Park, 3130 E. Southern Ave.
• Includes a 1.2 acre designated off-leash dog area without
lights.
• Closed on Tuesday for maintenance.
The off-leash dog areas are completely fenced and feature areas
for timid and active dogs, park benches, and drinking fountains.
Owners are responsible for the behavior of their pets and for
keeping their dogs under control.
Dogs are welcomed in all parks, retention basins, and multiuse
paths when controlled and restrained on leashes no greater than
6 feet in length. Owners of dogs shall immediately remove any
dog exhibiting aggressive behavior that evidences a threat of
imminent injury. Owners are required to pick up all dog waste.Golf Course

the Superstitions, the RMMC is designed to serve the needs of all
ages, and includes an indoor walking/running track, gymnasium,
cardio and weight equipment, exercise room, classrooms and a
30-foot climbing wall. It offers a wide variety of meeting spaces
for business and social gatherings.
