Welcome to Your Parents’ Association
Birkenhead School Parents’ Association plays a role Over the past few years, funding has been provided for
within the School Community to raise funds to many “luxuries” and Beyond the Curriculum activities:
purchase “little extras” that surprise and delight – non- Duke of Edinburgh Award equipment, a gazebo shelter
essential items that enhance the experience of pupils for sports fixtures, Junior & Senior sports team kits,
and students at Birkenhead School from Nursery to gymnastics equipment, incubators for chicks, Outdoor
Sixth Form. Classroom educational equipment, Little School
outdoor play equipment, a pool table for the Sixth
Various social events are organised over the course of Form Common Room, Unicycle Club equipment,
the School year and the activities for Michaelmas Term Nursery play equipment, Senior Team sports tour
are outlined in this brochure. Further information sponsorship, musical instruments and equipment

How to register
Click the ‘Register’ button at the top right of the website page and enter your details
Purchasing
Add the items you require to your basket and proceed to checkout. You can purchase multiple items for the
same child, or items for multiple children in the same transaction; simply complete their details for the
individual items at checkout i.e. you can order John’s Christmas Cards and Sarah’s Disco ticket at the same
time.
The website uses Stripe (a secure online payment processing platform similar to PayPal). Online payments
incur transaction fee (20p + 1.4% of the total order) however the Parents’ Association hope that the
convenience of being able to make cashless purchases 24/7 (rather than being confined to school hours)
outweighs this small amount.
You will receive an automated email confirming your purchase. If you do not receive a confirmation email, this
means that your order has not been received. If you have problems completing a transaction, please contact the
event organiser so that they can help to resolve any issues.
Platform security
PTA-Events Ltd (website developers) take the security of data very seriously and are registered with the
Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). The company uses SSL technology which enables sensitive
information to be transmitted securely. Cloudflare Web Application Firewall further enhances security.
Privacy
The website is GDPR-compliant. When you register, you must agree to the terms and conditions and privacy
policy. If you wish to review your privacy settings, click the “My Account” tab o the top left of the page and
select “Preferences” to access details of the privacy policy. You can opt into receiving emails/newsletters and
can also exercise your right to data portability (Article 20 of GDPR) and right to erasure (Article 17 of GDPR).
