BELIEVE FOR SOMETHING
           NEW IN 2022!
By the time you receive this newsletter, you are well into 2022 and working to
keep the resolutions that you listed on the first of January. I am a planner by
nature and it has been helpful through the years to keep me focused but the
Lord has been doing a new thing in me the months before the New Year
rolled around. As I pressed into Jesus, the Word of God in 1 Corinthians 2:9-12
                           explained what I was experiencing.

Judy Graham Here's what that passage says:
                                    "But it is written:
President, 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Celebration Women's Nor have entered into the heart of man,
Ministry, Inc. the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the
Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what
man (or woman) knows the things of a man except the spirit of
the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of
God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the
spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might
know the things that have been freely given to us by God."
  There is still
time to start a With all the things that had been coming against us from the world and the
enemy, I would pray every morning that the Holy Spirit would order my steps
Bible reading and give me direction for that day. What I discovered was that what I had
"planned" would get changed many times, but what turned out was more
program for effective and beneficial not only for me but for what the Lord purposed for
the year. It will others that day. Taking "one day at a time" is critical, as we trust in Him to
                           keep us from getting overwhelmed.
     be life
The Holy Spirit who dwells in you is your constant companion, comforter,
changing! counselor, helper, advocate, intercessor, strengthener, standby, and Spirit of
                           Truth.

He will give you the wisdom for every one of your days, not the wisdom of this
age, nor of the wisdom of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding us every day for your purposes in our lives in
                           2022.

                           Love you,

WELCOME BACK TO THE NATIONAL BOARD
                                        Tina Cropper!
Hello Celebration Sisters! I have the honor and privilege to return
to the role of VP of Special Events for Celebration Women's
Ministry. Over 20 years ago, I was blessed to be a part of the first
information meeting. Those that attended that meeting were so
excited to hear about a new ministry that emphasized salvation,
                                     healing, and equipping for women.

Over the years, I have started numerous chapters including
Onalaska FUMC, Dickinson FUMC, and restarted Westbury UMC. I
have been involved in the Celebration Prayer Ministry, taught
prayer in Leadership Training, been a District representative, and
I was President Judy Graham's administrative assistant.

My husband Keefe and I have served in the Methodist Church for 34 years. We just retired from
Quitman UMC at the end of January. We now live in Spring, Texas north of Houston. In recent years,
Keefe and I have served in overseas missions. Keefe ministered in Tanzania, Africa. I have served in
Albania, Taiwan and Guyana, South America. We celebrated our 38th anniversary on February 11
and we have two grown sons, Michael and Stephen. We are proud of the young men they have
become. They are precious gifts from God!
                                                                   Love,

UMC, where he is the Senior Pastor. She leads a Sunday
School class and serves in Friendswood’s R.E.A.L., the
church’s women’s ministry. She has been attending
Celebration for many years and has served on the
Celebration youth team for over five years. Debbie & Jim
have two sons and two wonderful daughters-in-law. Jeremy
serves as the associate pastor at Kingwood UMC and his
wife, Erika is a talented artist and prayer warrior. Jason &

worship leader and Maggie is the children's ministry
director. Debbie is a 6th grade science teacher for
Pasadena ISD and she likes to spend the day in her
                                       hammock reading.

           ERIKA BASS
Erika moved to the Houston area in 2020 with her husband for his
appointment as an associate pastor at Kingwood UMC, which they
love! She has a passion for art and creativity, and has been
blessed to be able to see the Lord at work through that. Her
personal favorite creative outlets include illustration, knitting,
paper crafts, fiddling with clay, and baking (although that last one
has more to do with eating delicious dessert than actually
successfully executing something pretty)! Last year was her first
time leading the youth portion of Celebration National Conference
and she had a wonderful time! Erika is so happy to be able to
return this year and she is looking forward to seeing God at work!

Sisters in Christ,

As we look to our future in 2022, we have a lot of questions, including when
will life be normal again? In truth, we don't know. However, as we put our
HOPE in Christ, we can move forward with love, peace, and faith that moves
Beth Domingue mountains. Here are a few thoughts on hope. I pray they will encourage you in
                       your journey!
VP of Prayer,

OPE When life seems impossible, and life is just hard, what do we do?
Often it is a challenge just to put one foot in front of the other.
                                                                             How do we find hope?
We find it by looking to our Savior, Jesus. It's true that we live in trying times and it can be
easy to get discouraged. However, we have this HOPE. The early church had the vision of
Hope in Jesus Christ even through persecution. We can too!
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your
  Need Prayer? mind." Romans 12:2

Visit our website PEN our Bibles. These days we can pull up a scripture on our phone in
and click on the seconds and even have someone interpret it for us. While it's awesome to
Prayer button and be living in an age where the Word is so accessible, there is something
special about opening your personal Bible and reading God's Word. For me, that's the
you can submit a best way to hear God's still, small voice and the power of His Holy Spirit. I have several
prayer request! Bibles, but my favorite one is about 30 years old with notes and dates and names. It's so
amazing to see how God has directed my path. How faithful He is! This is where I find my
HOPE. "Test me and try me, examine my heart and my mind." Psalms 26:2

RESS forward into the things of God in 2022. The enemy would
love to get us off track, but as we press into God, seeking Him more, our
hearts will be strengthened and healed. Our goal is to press forward to the
Goal in Christ Jesus, not just for ourselves, but so that others may come to know Him.
"Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, with all of
your mind and all of your strength." Mark 12:30

XPERIENCE God's Love. Shining within us is the Light of Christ
and the unconditional love of our Savior. We have the opportunity to be the
beautiful hands and feet who bring the good news to a broken world.
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
                                                                   We have this HOPE!
