RBOOSH Vacation Care Program AUTUMN 2021
ABOUT RBOOSH VACATION CARE
RBOOSH Vacation Care is a community-based, parent-managed, non-profit organisation
operated by Rose Bay Before & After School Care. We provide a caring, fun and safe envi-
ronment for all children. Our programs aim to provide our children with a variety of crea-
tive, enjoyable and stimulating activities. Our holiday programs are offered to children en-
rolled in primary school
ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
Enrolments and booking forms must be received no later than the specified closing date.
There are limited places available so get your bookings in early. Payments for Vacation Care
as well as Before and After School Care must be received by Monday 22nd March, 2021
Bookings after the closing date will only be accepted if places are available.
Bookings Open: MONDAY 8th MARCH 2021
Bookings Close: FRIDAY 12th MARCH 2021

EXCURSIONS
On excursion days, children need to be at the centre by 9am. We will not wait for late children.
LATE FEE
A flat fee of $15 will be charged for the first ten minutes after 6:00pm. $1.00 per minute will be
charged thereafter.
SUN SAFE
Please send your child/ren with a hat, sunscreen + bottle of water, as we spend a lot of time outdoors.

and cute furry friends, guests

WEDNESDAY 7TH APRIL
EASTER SHOW @ HOMEBUSH
Yes, we’re taking the kids to the Royal Easter Show! It’s going to be a
crazy day filled with agricultural wonders, awesome shows and of course,
show bags!!
Children will be allowed to bring no more than $30 to spend on show
bags. Also, please wear a red top!

We will be back at RBOOSH by 4pm.

THURSDAY 8TH APRIL
WHEELS DAY + SUPERCODY
Today the kids will help their teammates, decode a sequence of codes to
locate the villains’ hiding spot. They will use their magnifier to reveal the
identities of the fugitives, and then code their Blue-Bot to catch them.
NO HELMET = NO RIDING

FRIDAY 9TH APRIL
K-2: SKYZONE
3-6: SYDNEY TALLSHIPS
K-2’s are heading to Skyzone for some flipping fun on the trampolines. Be
sure to eat your Weet-Bix!
The 3-6’s are boarding the James Craig, Sydney’s only 19th century Tall Ship,
to experience what it was like sailing these ships 150 years ago. Don’t be
fooled though, this isn’t a leisure cruise, they’ll be pulling ropes, scrubbing
decks and hauling cargo!

MONDAY 12th APRIL
K-2: TEN PIN BOWLING
3-6: SKYZONE + ARCHIE BROS
K-2’s are heading for some ten in bowling action at the Entertainment Quarter.
Whilst the 3-6’s are heading to Skyzone for some flipping fun on the
trampolines and arcade games at Archie Bros.

TUESDAY 13th APRIL
WHEELS DAY + COOKING DAY
Service please, calling all aspiring chefs, RBOOSH will be opening up their
kitchen for the kids to make some amazing meals for lunch & afternoon tea.

K-2: PARSLEY BAY
3-6: HOLEY MOLEY
K-2 It’s a beautiful Autumns day (we hope!), so we are heading within the
gorgeous surrounds of Parsley Bay. We will be having games in the park,
building sandcastles and enjoying the water– Don’t forget to slip, slop, slap!
3-6– Will be heading to Holey Moley Newtown for some 18 hole putt putt
action.

THURSDAY 15th APRIL FRIDAY 16th APRIL
WHEELS DAY + KADOO K-2: CANOELANDS
ART & CRAFT ORCHARD
3-6: PARSLEY BAY
Today the kids will be taught
traditional weaving methods to K-2’s are off to experience life on a
produce works of art made from working farm. They will be planting
native plants. They will also take seeds, picking seasonal fruit and
part in a Welcome to Country & hanging out with some farm
ochre ceremony acknowledging animals!
Mother Earth, whilst learning It’s 3-6’s turn at Parsley Bay, where
about Indigenous symbols and we will have our usual splashing
drawing techniques to produce a around in water and running amok

It’s that time during Vacation Care when we hit up Hoyts at EQ. We will be
watching Tom & Jerry in our own private cinema!
