favoured 608 passenger Silver Spirit, offering a wonderful opportunity to experience beautiful ports and
play at selected highly regarded golf courses, many of which rate as the leading courses in Spain, Portugal
and France. Silver Spirit was subject to a major refurbishment in 2018 and offers a selection of 8 different
restaurants (2 of which have a USD 40 to 60 pp cover charge). Staterooms have a minimum internal area of
28 sqm (which includes separate bath and shower) and unlimited standard wifi.

The itinerary is relaxed, offering particularly
long port days to maximise your pleasure
ashore. Late May/early June is a perfect time to
visit this region - the summer crowds will not
yet have arrived but temperatures will remain
pleasantly warm to take advantage of balcony
staterooms, or relaxing deck-side.
All Silversea cruises include beverage in suite

Trendsetter offers a golf programme covering 9
golf courses at 8 different ports. You can choose
to play no golf, all 9 possible games or any
combination between. Golf costs Euro 225
pp/round and includes coach transfers, green
fees, shared motorised cart, drinks post golf and
prize money each round. In almost all cases, the
courses we play are the best available within an
acceptable driving distance of each respective
port. The golf programme is priced at
approximate cost.

golfers, and long-time members of one of Sydney’s leading golf
clubs. They have golfed and cruised extensively throughout the
world.

Itinerary Day 1 – Wednesday 26 May – Barcelona (depart 6 pm) Today board Silver Spirit in Barcelona, to commence your 15 night cruise. Pre cruise, Trendsetter Travel can recommend and book your Barcelona accommodation at the best rates available (often with complimentary breakfast, food and beverage credits and early check in/late check out (subject to availability)). We will schedule a welcome private cocktail function at approximately 6.30 pm which will allow all the tour party to meet up and Adrienne and David will provide a briefing on the golf cruise. Day 2 – Thursday 27 May – Sea Day We have a leisurely sea day to start the cruise allowing you the time to get to know all that Silver Spirit has to offer. Day 3 – Friday 28 May – Malaga (Golf) – in port 8 am to 7 pm Malaga is the main port city of the Costa del Sol, famous for its over 100 golf courses. For those choosing not to golf, Malaga is an interesting port city to explore and perhaps lunch at one of the many outdoor restaurants. Of the many tourist attractions in Malaga, perhaps the best to visit is the Pablo Picasso Museum, walking distance from where Silver Whisper is berthed. Golf Option (Game 1): we will play Marbella Golf & Country Club, located on the coast, 56 km east of Malaga. The course is a Robert Jones (Snr) design and has many holes with elevation changes. Day 4 – Saturday 29 May – Cadiz (Golf) – in port 8 am to 7.00 pm Silver Whisper will berth early morning at Cadiz. Founded around 1,100 BC, Cadiz claims to be the oldest continually occupied city in the Western World. Once one of the wealthiest ports in the world, it was made famous in English history when Sir Francis Drake invaded and plundered the port city with a surprise raid in 1587. Post golf, if time permits, we suggest strolling one of the many self-guided walks of the historic areas of Cadiz.
Golf Option (Game 2): We play Montecastillo Barceló Golf Club, the highest rated of the many golf courses near Cadiz. Designed by Jack Nicklaus in 1992, it has been the venue for many professional tournaments on the European PGA Tour. It will be a pleasure to play even though it is one of the toughest courses we play on tour. You will need to be on top of your game to play to your handicap on this course. We should get back in time from golf to allow you time to independently explore the historic port area of Cadiz. Day 5 – Sunday 30 May – Lisbon – arrive 1.00 pm – stay overnight We arrive early afternoon in Lisbon. With no golf scheduled, the afternoon allows you the opportunity to independently explore Lisbon or take a Silversea tour. The down town centre of Lisbon is only a 10 minute walk from where Silver Spirit will berth. Day 6 – Monday 31 May – Lisbon (Golf) – depart at 6.00 pm Golf Option (Game 3): Designed by Cynthia Dye (niece of the famous Pete Dye), West Cliffs Golf Links opened in 2017 and is now rated the # 2 golf course in Portugal and the # 1 course in the greater Lisbon region. It is a sea side links course and offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean – indeed it is claimed there are views of the Atlantic from every hole. Given the distances between the holes, motorised cart golf is a must. Day 7 – Tuesday 1 June – Porto (Golf) – in port 8.00 am to 7.00 pm We have a long shore day at Porto, the largest city in Portugal after Lisbon. For those not golfing, there is the historic port area of Porto to explore or take one of the Silversea shore tours. Golf Option (Game 4) – we drive north of Porto and play Estela Golf Club, a magnificent links course facing the Atlantic Ocean. It is the # 1 rated course in Northern Portugal and is considered one of the best links courses in all Portugal. Day 8 – Wednesday 2 June – Sea Day Day 9 – Thursday 3 June – Bilbao – in port 8 am to 11 pm This morning arrive in historic Bilbao, home to the world famous Guggenheim Museum (open 10 am to 8 pm). Golf Option (Game 5): Play at Club Deportivo Ganguren Golf, a 30 minute drive from where Silver Spirit is berthed. There should be time to both golf today and visit the Guggenheim Museum given it remains open to 8 pm.
Day 10 – Friday 4 June – Bordeaux – arrive 4.30 pm – stay overnight Spend this afternoon cruising down the historic Garonne River and viewing the many famous vineyards with a late afternoon berthing in down-town Bordeaux. Bordeaux, once France’s richest community and largest port but now second only to Paris in terms of size. Famous for its delicious cuisine and wines, particularly from the well-known wine areas of the Medoc and Saint Emilion. Silver Whisper will berth within a short walk of the historic down town district of Bordeaux. There should be time to explore Bordeaux by foot early evening prior to dinner. Day 11 – Saturday 5 June – Bordeaux (Golf) - in port all day Golf Option (Game 6): A 30 minute drive from our berth, we visit Golf du Medoc one of the leading golf resorts in all France. Today, we play the Bill Coore designed Chateaux course. Coore has partnered Ben Crenshaw in many iconic golf courses including The Plantation Course on Kapalua. This course is rated # 1 in South West France and in the top 10 in France. Day 12 – Sunday 6 June – Bordeaux (Golf) – depart 4.30 pm Golf Option (Game 7): After a leisurely breakfast, we return to play the Golf du Medoc’s Vines course, designed by Canadian Rod Whitman. It is rated as one of the top 10 courses in south west France and one of our favourite courses in all France. This fine golfing experience will be enhanced by a late lunch at the resort before we return to Bordeaux and re- board Silver Spirit. Following golf today, we will have a most pleasant sail down the Garonne River to its estuary and out into the Bay of Biscay heading north around the Brittany peninsula to our next port stop of St Malo. Day 13 – Monday 7 June – Sea Day Day 14 – Tuesday 8 June - St Malo (Golf) – in port 8.30 am to 11 pm Anchor this morning at the famous port city of Saint Malo. With a long maritime history of seafarers, piracy included, this is an attractive and easy port to explore with many fascinating sites to visit. Golf Option (Game 8): Golf today is at the nearby St Malo Golf Resort. A park land course, in wonderful condition at this time of the year. This is one course not to miss. There will be ample time to look around the historic walled town of Saint Malo, but a short walk from the tender wharf, on your return from golf.
Day 15 – Wednesday 9 June – Guernsey (Golf) – in port 9 am to 6 pm We anchor this morning at St Peter Port, Guernsey. With Jersey, Guernsey forms the Channel Islands, still loosely part of the United Kingdom with Pound Sterling remaining the currency. The island is a mere 65 sq km in size with a population of circa 63,000. Golf Option (Game 9): following a 15 minute drive to the other side of the island, we play Royal Guernsey Golf Club, the number one golf course on the island of Guernsey. After golf, there should be time to walk around the interesting town of Peter Port prior to boarding Silver Spirit. Day 16 – Thursday 10 June – arrive in Southampton at 7.00 am Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before a final farewell to new friends and old before disembarkation. Southampton is England’s major passenger port and has a long history of maritime tradition. There is a direct train service to London’s airports or to the city of London. through Trendsetter Travel’s membership of the Virtuoso travel group. The following pricing is inclusive of
a 10% prepayment discount and economy class air fares to Europe on a number of major airlines including
Emirates and Qatar. Add an extra AUD 3,998 to convert to business class. If you decline the Silversea air
programme, a reduction of AUD 1,750 pp applies to the cruise fares. For new bookings made up until

Above prices are current as at 4 March 2020 and will be held for a further 90 days – although the 10% prepayment discount can be ended by
Silversea as early as 30 June 2020. Importantly, the above fares incorporate a 10% discount and assume payment in full at the time of
booking. Further pricing and terms available upon request. Importantly, all past Silversea guests are a member of the Venetian Society and
will receive an additional 5% discount over and above the above cruise fares.
Cancellation penalties apply - refer Silversea’s booking conditions - http://www.silversea.com/terms-and-conditions/ . Importantly, you can
cancel your Silversea booking up to 121 days from the cruise departure date with a full refund subject to a penalty of AUD 250 per booking
(that is AUD 125 pp where 2 guests are booked in the one room). The AUD 250 can be used as a credit on a future Silversea booking made
within a certain period from the date of cancellation. Travel insurance is highly recommended for this cruise and is able to be arranged
independent of Trendsetter Travel.
Maximum of 9 golf games are offered - although you can choose to play anywhere between no games and all 9 games. While the golf package
is calculated in Euro, it is payable in AUD at a rate better than the best available quoted AUD/Euro by a major bank on the required date of
payment. Payment for the elected golf programme is required 120 days from cruise departure – around 26 January 2021. While uncertainty
exists over travel arrangements due to the coronavirus, Trendsetter Travel has waived its usual AUD 1,000 pp deposit on the golf programme.
The provision of a golf option is priced at Euro 225 pp per round and covers green fees, coach transfers, shared
motorised cart, prize money and drinks after golf. Rebate of Euro 15 pp/round if elect to use walking trundler (unless
golf cart compulsory). Trendsetter has booked the courses as specified but cannot be held responsible for any
cancellation/s necessitated by a change to the ship’s itinerary due to weather or any other event, or late amendment
by the golf course. If such an event occurs and, in the unlikely event, Trendsetter cannot organise an alternative golf
course, Trendsetter will pass through any refund available.
