Spring Term 7th January 2022 John 10:10 Live life in all its fullness
Dear Parents and Carers,

Happy New year. It is so lovely to see so many people back with us.

We hope that anyone self isolating and recovering comes back to us
soo. Some welcome news that you no longer have to seek PCR after a
LFT result. ‘Confirmatory PCR tests following a positive lateral flow de-
vice (LFD) test result are to be temporarily suspended from Tuesday
11th January. This will mean that anyone who receives a positive LFD
test result will be required to self-isolate immediately and will not be re-
quired to take a confirmatory PCR test.’

In total this week we have 12 staff absent and no new cases. None of
the children absent have been in school but we have over 30 children
isolating at the moment. We will of course update you if new cases start
to arise and if the 10% is reached with new cases but it is not necessary
at the moment as these children haven't been in school!

Christmas Quiz– answers attached.

For all our lovely parent champions on social media, please do keep
championing JP for parent places. It really does make a difference– for
the past two years we have not been as full in reception which does
have a significant impact on money at £4K per child place! Please en-
courage anyone looking for a space to pick Team JP.

Stay well and see you on the gate

Mrs Savage

Please encourage as many people you know with children
in reception to apply for JPCE. There are strange rumours
that it is hard to get into! We know that is not true and
funding is important to keep our staffing as it is.

and our catchy songs and engaging use of props and games really
bring the classes to life. This term, we will be learning to talk
about our birthdays, homes and families, as well as some fabulous
Easter songs!

The course runs from January 14 - March 25 and costs £50 for 10
weeks. Details are in the flyer on our website or please

Outstanding Owl and Rainbow
         Promise Learners
Each week children are chosen for showing Owl learning
behaviours or following our Rainbow Promise.

Our Rainbow Promise underpins everything we do at school. Just as the Rain-
bow was a sign of God’s promise to Noah that from that moment God would
enable Noah and the people of the earth to flourish and experience life in all its
fullness. So as a school community we promise to do our best to enable all the
pupils and adults of our school to flourish academically and professionally so
that they might reach their potential.

The Rainbow is also a symbol of the diversity of our school
community, but as a church school we recognise that we are all
created and valued by God, and so as a school community we commit to care for
 and value each other.

The dove symbolises our need to persevere in some aspects of life
as it is not always the first time we find success. It was not the
first time that Noah had tried to find dry land and so we much
seek strength within ourselves and from God to achieve.

These are our Values we try to live each day

  Forgiveness Love
  Patience
                          Honesty
      Support Respect
  ☺ Kindness & Joy Peace

Our Owl Learning Behaviours:

         O - Optimism
         P - Perseverance
         P - Pride
         I - Inspiration

will be allowed.. Adults should wear masks. We shall be serv-
ing refreshments from 11:00 a.m. but everyone must be seated by 11:30
