Welcome to your March newsletter, bringing you all the latest updates and stories from
our people across the council. In each issue we introduce the newsletter with a message
from a different staff member. This time, we hear from our Director of Environment and
  Infrastructure (E&I), Gordon McNeil.

As we continue to make progress in the fight against
coronavirus and we look ahead to the easing of
restrictions over the coming months, this is an
important time for all of us, and the work we’re
doing as a council to support Renfrewshire’s
recovery.
The council budget was approved by councillors earlier
this month. This will play a crucial part in supporting
our recovery and you can read everything you need
to know further on in this newsletter.
From supporting our communities through the
continuation of council services to the operation of
testing and vaccination centres, to how we help look
after those with health and social care needs and have
supported the return to learning in our nurseries and
schools to name only a few examples, your outstanding
work does not go unnoticed. Great credit must go to Gordon McNeil
