The Grade 6 students participated in a
Remembrance Day tulip art project organ-

This year marks the 75th anniversary of
the liberation of the Netherlands. Students
learned all about the courageous soldiers
who sacrificed their lives to help the citi-

Canada and the Netherlands, one that will

      News from
     kindergarten
    Kindergarten students can be
heard singing, playing and in-
teracting throughout the day in
Room 5. They have been learn-
ing about the letters and their
corresponding sounds. October
and November were filled with
fall and Halloween activities in-
volving counting, colouring,
cutting and pasting. Ms. Eliane
says, “I really have the best job
in the world. The students are
always enthusiastic and ready to
learn. I love being part of all
their “firsts” and seeing how
much they learn and grow in
such a short time. I always try
to make learning fun and pro-
vide them with the foundation
for further education. I enjoy
listening to the students and
watching how they interact with
each other.” EBS staff members
and students are very lucky to
have such a positive and de-
voted teacher!
