St. Paul Lutheran Church
  147 West Forest Street
        Clyde, OH
     Opening Service Music
      “Graves in Gardens”
        by Elevation Worship

             Verse 1
      I searched the world
     But it couldn't fill me
       Man's empty praise
     And treasures that fade
        Are never enough

            Verse 2
     Then You came along
    And put me back together
       And every desire
        Is now satisfied
    Here in Your love (Hey)

              Chorus
Oh, there's nothing better than You
 There's nothing better than You
       Lord, there's nothing
    Nothing is better than You
(Oh, yes I know it's true)
Page |2

           Verse 3
        I'm not afraid
 To show You my weakness
   My failures and flaws
  Lord, You've seen 'em all
And You still call me friend
            Verse 4
'Cause the God of the mountain
Is the God of the valley
       There's not a place
     Your mercy and grace
      Won't find me again
           Chorus
       Bridge 1 (2x)
You turn mourning to dancing
 You give beauty for ashes
 You turn shame into glory
You're the only one who can
          Bridge 2
 You turn graves into garden
 You turn bones into armies
 You turn seas into highways
You're the only one who can
You're the only one who can
        Chorus (2x)
        Bridge 2 (2x)
        Chorus (2x)

              Welcome / Announcements

P: In the name of the Father and of the ☩ Son and of
   the Holy Spirit.
C: Amen.

          Confession of Sins and Forgiveness
P: Let us confess our sins before God and before one
     another.

C: Lord we admit to You we have followed the same
disastrous ways of our first parents in the Gar-
den. We have listened to lying voices enticing us
to break covenant with You and stray onto for-
bidden, dangerous paths. In our shame, we have
hidden our faces from You and one another. As
we face the consequences of our sins, we are
quick to blame and slow to take responsibility.
We need Your forgiveness Oh God!

P: The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger
and abounding in steadfast love. Your sins are for-
     given for Jesus’ sake.

C: As far as the east is from the west, so far has he
removed our transgressions from us. Amen.

     Pre-Sermon Songs:
         “Hosanna”
         by Reawaken

I see the King of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
  The whole earth shakes
  The whole earth shakes

            Yeah

I see His love and mercy
   Washing over all our sin
        The people sing
        The people sing

         [Chorus]
          Hosanna
          Hosanna
 Hosanna in the highest [x2]

      I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
      With selfless faith
      With selfless faith

      I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
      We're on our knees
      We're on our knees
Page |5

                 [Chorus]
Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me

Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

               [Chorus x2]

           “Holy, Holy, Holy”
                by Reawaken

            Holy, holy, holy!
           Lord God Almighty
          Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee
            Holy, holy, holy!
          Merciful and mighty
          God in three persons
             Blessed Trinity!

              Holy, holy, holy!
      Though the darkness hide thee
Though the eye of sinful man
          Thy glory may not see
             Only Thou art holy
        There is none beside Thee
Perfect in power, in love and purity
Page |6

                  Holy, holy, holy!
                Lord God Almighty
Oh thy works shall praise Thy name
In earth and sky and sea
                  Holy, holy, holy!
                Merciful and mighty
                God in three persons
                   Blessed Trinity

                  “How Can It Be”
                     Lauren Diagle

                       I am guilty
Ashamed of what I've done, what I've become
                These hands are dirty
I dare not lift them up to the Holy One

You plead my cause, you right my wrongs
You break my chains, you overcome
You gave your life, to give me mine
You say that I am free
               How can it be? Yeah
               How can it be? Yeah

                   I've been hiding
               Afraid I've let you down
[Album version:] Inside I doubt, that you still love me
[Video version:] Inside I doubt, that you could love me
But in your eyes, there's only grace now
Page |7

You plead my cause, you right my wrongs
You break my chains, you overcome
You gave your life, to give me mine
You say that I am free
         How can it be? Yeah
         How can it be? Yeah

Though I fall, you can make me new
From this death, I will rise with you
Oh, the grace reaching out for me, yeah
How can it be, how can it be?

You plead my cause, you right my wrongs
You break my chains, you overcome
You gave your life, to give me mine
You say that I am free, yeah

You plead my cause, you right my wrongs
You break my chains, you overcome
You gave your life, to give me mine
You say that I am free
         How can it be? Yeah
         How can it be? Yeah

          Closing Song
  “This I Believe (The Creed)”
           by Hillsong

     Our Father everlasting
      The all creating One
        God Almighty

   Through Your Holy Spirit
   Conceiving Christ the Son
       Jesus our Savior

I believe in God our Father
I believe in Christ the Son
I believe in the Holy Spirit
Our God is three in one
   I believe in the resurrection
      That we will rise again
For I believe in the name of Jesus

  Our Judge and our Defender
    Suffered and crucified
    Forgiveness is in You

    Descended into darkness
    You rose in glorious life
      Forever seated high

I believe in God our Father
I believe in Christ the Son
I believe in the Holy Spirit
P a g e | 10

Our God is three in one
   I believe in the resurrection
      That we will rise again
For I believe in the name of Jesus

         I believe in You
     I believe You rose again
I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord
             I believe
         I believe in You
     I believe You rose again
I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord

I believe in God our Father
I believe in Christ the Son
I believe in the Holy Spirit
Our God is three in one
   I believe in the resurrection
      That we will rise again
For I believe in the name of Jesus

I believe in God our Father
I believe in Christ the Son
I believe in the Holy Spirit
Our God is three in one
   I believe in the resurrection
      That we will rise again
For I believe in the name of Jesus

For I believe in the name of Jesus
For I believe in the name of Jesus
P a g e | 11

       I believe in life eternal
I believe in the virgin birth
I believe in the saints' communion
     And in Your holy Church
    I believe in the resurrection
      When Jesus comes again
For I believe, in the name of Jesus

I believe in God our Father
I believe in Christ the Son
I believe in the Holy Spirit
Our God is three in one
   I believe in the resurrection
      That we will rise again

     COVID PROTOCOLS LIFTED
          AFTER JUNE 2
After June 2nd all of the protocols that the Church Council put
in place during the pandemic will be lifted. This is the last
Sunday masks will be required. We will return the cushions,
Bibles, hymnals, and songbooks to the pews sometime before
the June 12-13 services. Thanks be to God! He has seen us
through this most dreadful time for our country and the
world! We all have learned valuable lessons throughout all of
this. We are stronger and our faith is stronger since we have
relied on God to guide and protect us. Our church family has
adapted to the challenges set before us and through the power
of the Holy Spirit we have found creative ways to get the
Word of the Lord out into our community and continue offer-
ing Word and Sacrament ministry to those who desire it.
