Dear Reader,
We know that you know we’ve been taking
care of Kiwi farmers since the 1930s
… but DID YOU ALSO KNOW that we’re
pretty big in the security and fuel systems
industries too?
Security
With over 800 team members on our
New Zealand sites (and more than 1000
globally), our solutions can be found in over
160 countries.
If you’re a farmer then you’ll likely already
know how our smart farm systems help
you. But DID YOU ALSO KNOW that our
world beating security platforms look after
students, office workers, nurses, doctors,
patients, prison officers, bankers, miners
and many, many more, all over the globe.
Be it keeping the lights on by protecting
the UK’s national power infrastructure, Animal

tech access control takes care of people
just about everywhere you can think of.
And we even provide fuel dispensers
for around 80 per cent of fuel retailers
throughout Australasia.
To say we’re proudly powered from New
Zealand is an understatement.
We hope you enjoy today’s game! Fuel

COACHING
TEAM
CLAYTON
MCMILLAN
INTERIM HEAD COACH
The current Maori All Blacks Head Coach and
former Bay of Plenty Rugby Head Coach, will take
up the role as Interim Head Coach for the Gallagher
Chiefs in 2021, in absence of Gallagher Chiefs
Head Coach Warren Gatland Heads who will be
heading the British & Irish Lions for his third tour.
The Bay of Plenty centurion transitioned into
coaching eighteen years ago while finishing
playing professionally in Japan.
Upon his return to New Zealand he has
held several age group and club roles
in both Bay of Plenty and Wellington
before taking the reins of his home
province in 2015.
In 2017 McMillan was appointed
as the New Zealand Provincial
Barbarians Head Coach to
face the British and Irish Lions
during their 2017 tour of New
Zealand. Later that year he was
announced as the incoming Maori
All Blacks Head Coach. McMillan
has since led tours to the Northern
Hemisphere, America and Fiji.
In 2019 McMillan lead the Bay of Plenty
Steamers to victory, claiming the Mitre
10 Cup Championship title at Rotorua
International Stadium.
– 13 –NEIL BARNES
FORWARDS COACH
Barnes has been a key cog in the wheel
at the Gallagher Chiefs. The Taranaki
dairy farmer brings a wealth of coaching
experience having spent seven years away
including two Rugby World Cup campaigns
as the Canadian Maples forwards coach. In
2018 Barnes returned home to take up the
Gallagher Chiefs assistant coach role. Since
his return he has continued to add to his
coaching resume completing his third Rugby
World Cup campaign, this time with Fiji as
their assistant coach.
ROGER RANDLE
ATTACK COACH
Former All Black, New Zealand Sevens
and Gallagher Chiefs player Roger
Randle will head the Gallagher Chiefs
attack. Randle moved into coaching late
in his playing career, his coaching career
now spanning over ten years provides
a wealth of attack coaching experience
across both provincial and international
rugby. The Maori All Blacks and Waikato
assistant coach will continue to build on his
coaching resume with the Gallagher Chiefs
in 2021.
– 14 –DAVID HILL
ASSISTANT COACH
Former Gallagher Chiefs and All Blacks
first five-eighth and New Zealand Under
20 Assistant Coach David Hill continues
with the Gallagher Chiefs coaching staff in
2021 as an Assistant Coach. Hilly moves
from a skill development role into an
Assistant Coach in 2021 and has a wealth
of knowledge from his professional
playing and coaching career.
NICK WHITE
SCRUM COACH
Another former player turning his hand
to coaching, Nick White, was a prop for
Northland, Auckland, the Crusaders, the
Highlanders, the Blues and New Zealand A
before retiring. From there he joined the Blues
as scrum coach in 2012 which then followed
onto his appointment as head coach for
Auckland in 2016.
White joined the Gallagher Chiefs as scrum
coach for the 2018 season. He has been
instrumental in the performance of the
Gallagher Chiefs scrummaging since the
beginning of his tenure and will continue to
hold his role as scrum coach.
