Message from your Executive Director Here we are in 2021…73 years as The West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce! Reflecting on such a challenging year for us all in 2020 and recognizing there will still be challenges ahead this year and next, it is more important than ever that businesses do all they can to remain as resilient as possible and reach out for support to help you get through these times. Our chamber is here for you. I am pleased to continue as your chamber’s Executive Director, and to bring you our 2021/2022 Business Directory. A guide to our member’s businesses and community services for you to refer to and support. Our community continues to grow and by shopping our members and shopping local, you will be doing your share to help improve our economic development in West Lincoln and keep our economy strong. If you cannot find a business who provides the product or service you need, please just reach out to me at the office and I will do my best to connect you with some businesses you could consider contacting. Over the last two years our chamber has continued to grow with not only membership stronger than ever, but also in our strength of partnership with eight other chambers in Niagara Region via our Niagara Chamber Partnership. This business development product called Associate Membership, creates opportunities for our business members to expand, cost effectively, their outreach to consumers and businesses throughout much of Niagara Region. Although our in-person events have had to be modified whenever possible, to virtual events for the time being, this virtual connection for businesses is still important. We are evolving our collaboration with our three West Niagara Chambers. We have been working diligently to bring to you our West Niagara Chambers Newsletters with important information on relevant topics you need to know. And we are also developing a series of events together, we call Working West Niagara. Events that are informative, educational and purposeful, not to mention, a great ongoing business development connection to our West Niagara Businesses. And our Learning Series Forums is another series of events facilitated by our Niagara Chamber Partnership chambers. We welcome any suggestions you may have as to how we can improve our chamber and make it better for you. And hope that you will continue to contribute to our community by supporting our chamber members and by shopping local! PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
As the West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce enters its 73rd year of existence, there is no greater
time for our organization to be an advocate for its members. The past year has undoubtedly
been the most difficult year for businesses of all sizes in our community, and the next 2 years
will prove to be difficult as we work to recover from the events of 2020. As President of the West
Lincoln Chamber of Commerce I feel a heightened level of responsibility towards ensuring we
are here for you, our members, providing critical resources and advocacy to support you.
Like most small communities right across our country, West Lincoln relies heavily upon local
small businesses to drive our local economy, provide employment opportunities to residents,
and to ensure that consistent, sustainable growth can occur. Industry Canada defines
small business as those with fewer than 100 employees. By this definition, our Chamber is
comprised of over 99% small businesses, 1% medium businesses and 0% large businesses.
What might surprise you is that this is very similar to the breakdown of Canadian businesses
as a whole. Small businesses in Canada make up 98.2% of all businesses in Canada, and if
you add in medium sized businesses that number jumps to 99.8% of all businesses in Canada.
SME is the engine of all business in Canada as well as in our own backyard.
As we enter the recovery phase of the pandemic, Chambers of Commerce across the Country
are working together to support the healthy recovery of the Canadian economy by ensuring
local economies have what they need in order to rebuild. As your local Chamber of Commerce,
we are committed to supporting West Lincoln’s recovery by providing our members with
important information, resources and services. I encourage our members to make the most
of our many offerings in their recovery; join us at networking events, promote your business
through a variety of chamber marketing channels, attend professional development events,
take advantage of our vast outreach capabilities, access affinity partner discounts, and let
us advocate on your behalf to all levels of government. We want you to know that we are
continually working towards strengthening your membership and our voice.
Through the strength and commitment of our Executive Director, Denise Potter, along with our
dedicated Executives and Board of Directors we are supporting businesses in West Lincoln.
Benjamin Franklin once said, “Out of adversity comes opportunity.” Let us work together to

I am pleased to offer greetings on behalf of council and staff of the Township of West Lincoln.
The mutual respect between the municipality and West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce
remains firm. I wish to thank the Chamber for providing this 2021 / 2022 Business Directory
to the residents of West Lincoln.
The current COVID circumstances have made it imperative that we conduct special
considerations as we interact with local businesses. There are grave concerns for the vitality
of small enterprises and effort is being expended to ensure their survival. A strong network
through this Chamber is a much needed and welcome boost.
I can attest that West Lincoln remains a great place to live work and play. Vigorous, balanced
growth for more than a decade translates into great security for investing in our community.
Township staff are eager to assist with service and information and in conjunction with our
fine Chamber Executive Director, Denise Potter, and Past President Rob Wood over these last
four years, as well as your newly elected Chamber President, Paul Robertson, whom we look
