EVENT REGISTRATION
Registration for all student-athletes will take place at the Paradise Coast
Sports Complex (3868 City Gate Blvd. N, Naples, FL 34117)
All Student-Athletes will receive their
official FBU Top Gun Showcase Swag Bag
During registration on Thursday & Friday,
attendees will have the chance to
participate in fun activities with our
sponsors in the Great Lawn.

OPENING CEREMONIES
Opening Ceremonies will take place on Friday, July
9th in the Football Stadium at the Paradise Coast
Sports Complex from 2:00pm-2:30pm
All attendees are invited to attend the Opening
Ceremonies – parents, siblings, family members,
student-athletes,, etc.!
The Opening Ceremonies will be filled with coach
introductions, player expectations, schedule
review, surprise guests and MORE!

COMBINE TESTING
Athletafied Combine Testing is available during registration on
Thursday & Friday for Student-Athletes in the 2022, 2023, 2024
& 2025 grad classes ONLY.
The following will be tested & captured:
Height & Weight
40-yard Dash presented by Naples CVB
Broad Jump presented by NCSA
Shuttle Drill presented by NoSweat
L-Drill presented by Soldier Sports
Thanks to our sponsors, the top performer for each combine drill
will receive an official FBU Top Gun Sponsor Prize Pack.
Participating student-athletes are required to download the
Athletafied App in order to receive verified results.
Student-athletes who download the Athletafied App will also
receive their official combine scoring sheet on Sunday!
WILSON QB ACTIVITIES
Wilson QB Challenge
The Wilson QB challenge is available during registration on
Thursday & Friday for Student-Athletes in the 2022, 2023, 2024
& 2025 grad classes ONLY.
The following will be tested & captured:

➢ Spin Rate
➢ Spiral Efficiency
Wilson Top Gun Shootout
The Wilson Top Gun Shootout is open to ALL QB’s participating in
the FBU Top Gun Showcase.
QB’s will be tested & scored on their short, medium and long ball
accuracy – with prizes being awarded to top performers!
PRACTICE SESSIONS
Top Gun Practice Sessions for all student-athletes will take place at the
brand-new Paradise Coast Sports Complex

HEALTH & HYDRATION
A Message from Gatorade
The health & safety of athletes and event staff is our top priority. With that in mind,
we have reviewed CDC recommendations and are taking a number of proactive
measures. Effective immediately, in an abundance of caution, we have modified our
product experience.
FBU will still have Gatorade Hydration & Food products available for all athletes.
Hydration areas and equipment will be cleaned and disinfected continuously
throughout the day
We ask that participants bring their own Gatorade or other choice of
hydration from home and clearly mark your name
We ask that you please clearly mark your name on the bottle.
Gatorade will not provide bottles of water.

EXPOSURE & RECRUITING
Exposure
247sports, the premier scouting & recruiting service in the
country, will be on-site evaluating student-athletes, creating
profiles & providing full media coverage during all three (3) days
The UC Report will be on-site as well to scout all 2022, 2023,
2024, 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 student-athletes in
attendance and sending full reports to 64 Power 5 Schools
By The Numbers..
• Over 20% of the 2020 FBU Freshman All-American Bowl
athletes were invited from Top Gun
• Each year, 200 HS underclassmen are invited to the National
Combine at the All-American Bowl
• Each Year, 100 MS are invited to the FBU Futures Showcase
in Naples, FL during Championship Week
• All-FBU Top Gun Teams are named and released nationally for
each class through 247Sports and other media outlets
• All-American Bowl on NBC invites are awarded at Top Gun
Recruiting
Did you know that there are more than 40,000 college coaches in
NCSA’s network and more than 90% of US colleges have rostered an
NCSA athlete? Our partner, NCSA, will be on-site throughout Top
Gun to provide recruiting information and personalized advice for
every student-athlete at Top Gun. During Registration, student-
athletes will have the opportunity to schedule individual 1v1
sessions with an NCSA Staff member while at Top Gun.MEALS & LODGING
Meals
Athletes will be on their own for meals – lunch will NOT be provided
Outside Food & Beverage is NOT allowed into the Paradise Coast Sports
Complex. A variety of local food truck options will be available at the
Paradise Coast Sports Complex for Parents & Players
Gatorade products will be provided during camp. If you have a food
allergy please let us know a minimum of one week prior to attending
We have partnered with Sports Council of Collier County to provide a
variety of great deals & discounts at local restaurants, shops and
businesses throughout the FBU Top Gun Showcase
The full list of participating businesses and available discounts can be
unlocked by purchasing the official SCC Card for just $5 (instructions on last page)

Lodging
Lodging is the full responsibility of the student-athlete and their
parents/guardians. We have negotiated discounted rates at a variety of hotels

Apparel
Official Top Gun and FBU Apparel will be available on-site for purchase
during the FBU Top Gun Showcase!TOP GUN FAQ’S
• We are flying in from out of state, what is the best airport to fly into?
➢ The closest and most convenient Airport is in Ft. Myers, FL (RSW)
• What about lodging? Are there any preferred/discounted hotel options?
➢ YES! We have negotiated discounted rates at multiple hotels throughout
Naples, FL – you can book your lodging arrangements HERE
• Do players need to bring anything with them?
➢ YES! All student-athletes should bring cleats, and water bottle! We
recommend also bringing extra shorts, extra shirts, towels, notebook, pen
and shoes/slides
• What about helmets and pads? Do student-athletes need those?
➢ Student-athletes do NOT need to bring any pads with them to the Top Gun
Showcase – this is a non-padded event
➢ All Linemen MUST bring their own Hard-Shell Helmet
➢ All Skill Positions will be required to wear a Soft-Shell Helmet throughout the
event. Soft-Shell Helmets will be available to rent ($20 total for weekend)
