UPCOMING EVENTS MNU Theatre: Steel Magnolias March 30th-April 1st, 7:30pm Everybody who’s “anybody” comes to Truvy’s Beauty Salon, where Truvy, dispenses shampoos and free advice to the ladies who walk in. With humorous banter and wit, six women celebrate everyday joys and challenges while gathered together at their favorite spot in small-town Louisiana. When tragedy strikes, the women rely on each other for comfort and friendship - proving their bond to be as strong as steel. This show will be performed in the Sunderland Black Box Theatre. General Admission - $16 Students - $6 Faculty/Staff - $11 Jazz-a-Que April 22nd, 6:00pm The Annual Jazz-a-Que is a terrific opportunity to support the instrumental music programs at MNU! Ticket price includes a BBQ dinner and live jazz brought to you by the MNU Jazz Ensemble and featuring a guest artist. Individual tickets are $30 for individuals, $18 for students, or $220 for a table (seats 8) and includes a BBQ dinner. Members of the community will sing in a combined choir, singing traditional favorites and contemporary songs of worship. General Admission - $8 Students - $6 Faculty/Staff - $6 MNU Students - free if purchased online MNU Concert Band: International Winds April 30th, 6:00pm Enjoy an afternoon of music with our Choirs and Band! The Band portion will feature music of international flavor including music from China, Ireland, Hungary, England and more. The concert will be out on the MNU Campus Mall, so bring a yard chair or blanket, and enjoy music on the Mall!
