Celebrating
45-years
Spring has sprung, Summer is moving fast and the Fall
season is upon us. What’s not to love about September
Issues, layers, boots and all things pumpkin spice? Though
these are last year's trends, the Fall 2018 runways will be
anything but. Oversized outerwear, delicate and bold florals,
iridescent fabrics... so much inspiration! As we head towards
the 45th A Blooming Affair Fashion Show and
Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest’s 50th Celebration, we
couldn’t be more excited.
I am continually thrilled year after year by the success and
growth A Blooming Affair continues to see. Entering our
45th year speaks volumes to A Blooming Affair being not
just the premiere fall fashion event in Waterloo Region, but
truly the only fashion event of its caliber and size that brings
over 800 attendees to meet and shop with our region's
leading independent boutique and fashion retailers.
A Blooming Affair has evolved from its roots in 1973, as a
floral demonstration to a fashion show donning 25-hand-
made outfits. Those outfits were made by volunteer still
active with the committee today. We now boast a 100 ft.
runway showcasing local fashions, 20+ shopping boutiques
2018 ABA Sponsors
as well as gourmet food and beverages catered by
B Hospitality; creating a truly one-of-a-kind experience, all
hosted at Kitchener’s newest venue, LOT42. If there is one

The Child Witness program offers support to all children up to age

Tickets

Additional tickets can be purchased at $40 for general admission or $50 for VIP admission. VIP ticket holders recieve

Terms & Conditions
Terms of Store Participation in the Boulevard of Boutiques
• Your Company will have the freedom to decorate your space how you choose, without interfering with the booths beside
you or the area in front of your booth that might impede the flow of traffic.
• In addition to having the ability to sell your merchandise on-site to attendees, your Company is welcome to hand out
promotional material, coupons, etc.
• Your Company will ensure that all items to be showcased in your booth will be personally delivered to LOT42 the day
prior, September 29, 2018. (time is to be determined)
• Your Company agrees that you must be at your booth the day of the event, September 30th, by 11:45AM for doors
opening at noon.
• It is the responsibility of your Company to remove all of your merchandise after the show ends.
• Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged goods.
• In consideration of the foregoing, the Company agrees to pay Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest an entrance fee as
indicated.
• Unless previously arranged with the Committee Chair or Boulevard of Boutiques Coordinator, your contract with
payment must be received by August 13, 2018 or Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest will no longer hold your spot in the A
Blooming Affair Boulevard of Boutiques
• Cheques are to be made payable to Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest. Once both contract and cheque are received, an
invoice will be mailed out marked paid, and will confirm participation in the event.
• The Company agrees to all subsequent changes that may arise. The Company will be notified of any changes/additional
information via agreed upon channel of correspondence.

If accepted, I undertake and abide by all rules, regulations and stipulations of Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest and A
Blooming Affair.
A cheque must be enclosed with registration, made payable to K-W Oktoberfest Inc. by August 13, 2018.
Please note: cheques will not be cashed until the Committee accepts registration. Successful applicants will be
contacted by August 17, 2018. Any registration without a cheque enclosed will not be considered, unless other
arrangements have been made with the Chair of the Committee, Tara Hebblethwaite or Boulevard Coordinator
