LAST CALL!!! LOST AND FOUND
Please remember to send an appropriate jacket/coat
with your child now that cold weather has arrived.
Don’t forget to mark your child’s jacket, sweater and
coat with their name. Also, make sure names are on
lunch boxes and backpacks as many look the same.
Thanks for your help! This will help in identifying lost
items. If your child is missing a jacket/coat, please
check the coat rack in the school lobby. It is already
very full of items, water bottles and lunch boxes
included. During Christmas break, any remaining items will be donated to
Calvary’s Gift.

INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES
It's that time of year again when winter weather may cause school to be
cancelled or dismissed early due to a winter storm causing hazardous road
conditions. As much as possible, Trinity Lutheran School follows the
Jefferson City Public Schools' procedures regarding school closings and
cancellations due to hazardous weather conditions. Should school be
dismissed early or cancelled, you will receive a Parent Alert text or
email. Please make sure that your phone number and email address are
correct in FACTS so that you receive these alerts. You may also tune into
KRCG-TV, KMIZ-TV, or KOMU-TV.

In the event school is dismissed early due to a developing winter storm,
AFTER SCHOOL CARE WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. Please plan now to make
arrangements for your children to be picked up when and if an early
dismissal time is announced.

Keep in mind that should school be dismissed early or cancelled, all after-
school and evening activities would also be cancelled. Decisions regarding
scheduled basketball contests will be made by the PAL officials. Please visit
their website at www.cmpal.org for updates and cancellations.

CALVARY’S GIFT ECLIPSES $2 MILLION! – On Thursday, Calvary hosted the volunteers
from Calvary’s Gift for an appreciation meal and program. As part of the program, a check
was presented to the school for the quarterly proceeds from the store. This check
represented the $2 millionth dollar that Calvary’s Gift has given to support students and
families at Calvary Lutheran High School! Since 2009, this store has been run 100% by
volunteers and their proceeds ensure that a Lutheran high school education is accessible to
all who are interested. Praise God from Whom ALL blessings flow!

Only 3 shopping days at Calvary’s Gift remain before Christmas! The volunteers will be taking
a break for the holidays, so the store will be closed Dec. 24 -Jan 10. If you are interested in
supporting the students and families at Calvary by volunteering your time, come see where
you can help out in the new year. Call (573) 821-8875.
