Location
Garden Hotel & Restaurant is a 60 room hotel located in the Christchurch
suburb of Shirley. Christchurch International & Domestic Airport is 11 km
away and it’s a short 5 minute drive to Christchurch CBD.
The property is well positioned for conferences and meetings being
centrally located, with ample complimentary car parking and great on-site
dining options.
The Palms Shopping Mall is 850 metres away and the Shirley Golf Course is
close by.

Well known to locals who love hearty buffet, The Garden Restaurant with its
extensive seating is a popular dining option and perfect for conference
groups.
Lunch and dinner is offered with international, Asian, seafood and classic
kiwi favourites all on the menu.

GBC (Garden Bar Café)
Café style food in a convivial atmosphere; GBC has a great range of beers on
tap plus great coffee and is perfect for a relaxed lunch.

Orchid Room
Located at the front of the property in the building adjacent to the
Restaurant, this room has its own kitchenette. It is equipped with a data
projector and screen and PA system (additional charges apply). This room
has black out blinds and is ideally suited for small meetings and
workshops/training sessions.

Iris Room
Located separate to the Restaurant and adjacent to the “Love on the Lawn”
outdoor venue (perfect for weddings and Private out door parties). This is a
work in progress with a data projector and screen and PA system
(additional charges apply). This room has lots of natural sunlight and roller
blinder to reduce glare when the screen is in use.

wedding parties, tour groups, business and corporate travellers.

With spacious rooms from self- catering studios, executive studios and
spacious family self -catering accommodation all within the one complex,
offering ample complimentary parking, licenced Buffet Restaurant and Café.

The ideal location for meetings, seminars, training or private functions such
as weddings and special family events, the Garden Hotel offers a variety of
accommodation to suit all budgets.

Superior Twin Studio

Spacious ground floor studio with one Queen Bed & one Single bed in a
studio layout with ensuite. Room features bistro table, mini fridge, toaster
and tea & coffee making facilities, Sky channels, and Heat pump/AC.

Deluxe Studio Room

Located in a separate block from the complex with two levels. Deluxe studio
rooms with either King Bed, 2 Double beds or a Queen and Single bed. All
rooms feature mini fridge, microwave, toaster and tea & coffee making
facilities, Guest Select Sky 50+, Heat pump/AC and Ensuite with shower
over bath.

Standard Twin Studio

Ground floor studio with kitchenette, consisting of a Double bed and Single
Bed layout and Ensuite, these open plan studios are great for guests looking
for self-catering and comfort. Facilities include Heat pump/AC, mini fridge,
Tea/Coffee making facilities, convection m/wave and cooking hobs.

Two Bedroom Suites

These spacious ground level rooms offer full sized bathrooms, a lounge and
