This bike tour around Lake Constance is a very special cycling tour for cyclists with a limited time. During your
cycle holiday along the Lake Constance cycle path in Switzerland and Germany, explore the northern part of
Lake Constance. Enjoy medieval villages and towns and cycle through picturesque landscape as well as to
Europe’s largest waterfall, the Rhine Falls.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Individual arrival in Constance
Individual arrival for your cycle holiday at Lake Constance. Take the opportunity and enjoy a walk through
the beautiful old town of Constance. The Aquaria of the Sea Life Center and the Archaeological Museum
are also well-worth visiting. Example of hotel: ABC-Hotel in Constance
Day 2 - Constance–Stein am Rhine–Gailingen, approx. 40 km
Along the waterside of Lake Constance your tour leads to Stein am Rhine. In the Swiss part of Lake
Constance, medieval houses are along the cycle path. The cycling tour changes several times between
Germany and Switzerland. Example of hotel: Hotel Rheingold in Gailingen
Day 3 - Gailingen–Schaffhausen–Rhine Falls–Gailingen, approx. 30 km
After breakfast, cycle a short distance along the Lake Constance cycle path before you reach the Rhine
Falls, Europe's largest waterfalls. Afterwards continue along the Rhine stream upwards back to Stein am
Rhine. Along the peninsula Höri, continue to Gaienhofen. Example of hotel: Hotel Rheingold in Gailingen
Day 4 - Gailingen–Constance, approx. 50 km, individual departure or extra nights
From Gailingen you cycle back to Stein am Rhein. From there you cycle along the Höri peninsula via
Gaienhofen, where you can visit the Hermann Hesse House, to the old imperial and today's spa town of
Radolfzell. Along the Gnadensees you cycle leisurely back to Konstanz, where you start your journey
home in the afternoon. Your luggage is going to be delivered until at the latest 18.00 o´clock in Konstanz.

Free cancellation option
If you decide and book a trip early, but do not want to travel due to the corona virus, you can cancel free of
charge up to 35 days before departure. You will not pay any booking or cancellation fees.
Travel warning
We are constantly monitoring the current situation and will inform you in case of travel changes. If an official
travel warning is issued for your destination or you are unable to enter or leave the country, your trip will be
cancelled or rebooked free of charge.
No payments until 4 weeks before arrival
You do not have to make any advance payments until 4 weeks before arrival.
Note for people with limited mobility
The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to
accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room).
Passport and visa requirements
To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card.
For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for
obtaining any visa you may require in good time.
Terms and Conditions of Payment:
You do not have to make any advance payments to us up to 4 weeks before departure. Please mind the payment
conditions in your booking confirmation/invoice.
Cancellation Policy:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in
writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become
payable:
20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date
30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date
50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date
70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date
90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show”
If the customer makes changes to the booking (date of travel, tour, duration, transfer of the booking to another
person etc.) up to 28 days before departure, for reasons which are outside our control, we will charge a
processing fee of € 50,- per booking. After this date, the cancellation policy will apply. Such changes to a
booking may only be made in individual cases and if possible; the customer has no right to any changes.

In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties. (for example, tourist service providers, sights, passenger transport, processors).
