In the splendid setting of the Cathedral of Rimini, the usual Concert for the Feast of San Gaudenzo takes place,
now in its fifteenth edition, promoted by the Diocese of Rimini in collaboration with the Malatesta Music Chapel
Association in the presence of our Bishop F. Lambiasi, a precious opportunity also to remember his 75th birthday.
Exhibition by the Symphony Orchestra"G. Lettimi ", the choir of the Malatesta Music Chapel in Rimini, the soloists
Massimo Paris (viola), Isabella Orazietti (soprano), Sara Rocchi (alto), Marco Mustaro (tenor), Li Shuxin (bass)

Fiaby Halloween 2022: The costume parade
Throughout the month of October, Fiabilandia is ready to frighten visitors with a mysterious and frightening
outfitting.
An adventure on the park's attractions among bats, zombies, werewolves, vampires and other spirits.
On the most monstrous day of the year, Monday 31 October, Fiabilandia offers a rich program of activities, all
dedicated to the little ones: from monstrous face painting to themed shows with frightening entertainers who
distribute sweets.
The climax of the day is at 8:30pm, with the scariest costume contest parade, which takes place at Pala Verde,
inside the park.
The parade-competition is reserved for visitors to the park and in particular for children. To participate you need to
wear a scary costume and go to the Pala Verde meeting point.
The park is open every weekend in October (from 10.00am to 5.oopm), Monday 31 October (from 10.00am to
10.00pm), while Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 November from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

Italian Artists Award PART

Exhibition by the twelve finalist and winners
At PART, Rimini's Palazzi dell'Arte, the new biennial recognition for young Italian art under 40 called the PART
Italian Artists Award. The initiative was born from an idea of Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Giuseppe
Iannaccone, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini and the San Patrignano Foundation. The aim is to
support emerging Italian contemporary art and to contribute to increase the Collection, through the acquisition of a
work by the first three awarded artists.
The young finalists chosen by the selection committee composed of Edoardo Bonaspetti, Lucrezia Calabrò
Visconti and Francesco Garutti, are 12 (Benni Bosetto, Costanza Candeloro, Caterina De Nicola, Binta Diaw,
Lorenza Longhi, Beatrice Marchi, Diego Marcon, Daniele Milvio, Margherita Raso, Andrea Romano, Giangiacomo
Rossetti, Davide Stucchi). They are the protagonists of an exhibition within the PART, which remains visible to the
public for four months. Visitors to the PART can express their preferences, using a form available in the exhibition,

The three winners were announced during a public ceremony at the end of the exhibition (Saturday 1 October
2022, at 11 am): first place to Benni Bosetto with the work Doctor Said I might Go Blind. It Helped Me see more
clearly. Feb 15, 2022, 5:58 pm; the second classified is Giangiacomo Rossetti with Untitled (light sequence); the
third prize is awarded ex aequo to Binta Diaw with Paysage Corporel VII and to Beatrice Marchi with Amiche
Forever. The exhibition within the PART Palazzi dell’Arte Rimini has been extended until Sunday 9 October.

Rimini Marathon returns with its autumn event, the 'River Run'. Two days of sport with the Expo at the Tiberius

everyone with a route along the Marecchia cycle path. On Sunday 9 October at 9.30am the 'River Run'

Exhibition dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini
An exhibition dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini to celebrate the centenary of his birth. Roberto Villa's
photos exhibition on the set of the film “Il fiore delle Mille e una notte” / “The flower of the Thousand and One
Nights”, created by Pasolini in 1973 as the last chapter of the Trilogy of life, arrives in the eighteenth-century
building that houses Fellini Museum on three floors, the sector mainly dedicated to information, study and imagery
of Fellini through documents, images, original posters.
The exhibition entitled "Gli Orienti di Pasolini"/ “ The Orients of Pasolini” will be inaugurated on Friday 9
September at 12am, thanks to the collaboration with the Cineteca di Bologna Foundation, owner of the Villa Fund.
The unpublished images by Roberto Villa, created following the compositional philosophies of the history of art
and the theory of communication, illustrate the film's set and off-set. It is thanks to the perfect shots by Roberto
Villa, who was present on the set for 100 days in Iran and Yemen, in the enchanted cities of Isfahan and Sana’a,
that the atmosphere of the film can be reconstructed as well as the respect for oriental culture and humanity.
At 4.30 pm at the Fulgor Cinema, Roberto Villa and Massimo Roccaforte will talk and present the film "The flower
of the Thousand and One Nights" in the restored version on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Pasolini's
birth.

The lightning bolts painted in a famous sixteenth-century painting, Giorgione's Tempest, are the starting point of
the concert-installation proposed and created by Daniele Spanò for the voice of mezzo-soprano Arianna Lanci, in
a new production born from the collaboration of the Malatesta Music Festival with Emilia Romagna Theaters and
the Vie.
An immersive and multisensory device in which light, video and sound exchange functionality and skills, in an
attempt to increase the perceptive condition of the spectators.

A dance show that comes from the idea of merging dance and poetry.The dancer has the role of turning the word

homonymous book (Ed. Libri dell'Arco, Rimini) "Bussavamo with feet ", notes and images of a migration from the
Ascoli hinterland to Romagna and Tuscany, with the precious preface by his friend Sergio Zavoli.EVENTI

For the occasion, screening of the video with the interview by Zavoli dedicated to this Capitani’s project, followed
by some testimonies of Romagna and Marche farmers.
The project documents the immigration of Ascoli farmers to Romagna from the second post-war period onwards.
It is the first time of this photographic exhibition in Rimini.

Exhibition on the 20th through the notebooks of children of the past at the City Museum
An exhibition that reinterprets the twentieth century through the testimonies taken from the school notebooks of
the children of the past from Italy and the world, collected by the Archive of the School Notebooks - historical
archive that preserves about 2000 school notebooks from 35 countries of the world dating from the second half of
the 19th century to the present day - to approach history through the eyes of children.
The twentieth century was the century of total wars, the economic boom of the West, the definitive completion of
globalization, the mass diffusion of media and technology. According to some historians, it was also the "century
of the child".
And this is the story that "Piccolo Secolo" makes: History through the fragments of the life and thoughts of the little
authors of the notebooks on display, very important sources for understanding culture and society.
Alongside the exhibition, two didactic workshops dedicated to pupils and teachers of primary and lower secondary

73rd Malatesta Music Festival: The voices of Europe with the WunderKammer Orchestra

Chamber Music at the Galli Theater
Specially conceived for the Malatesta Music Festival is the program played by the musicians of the
WunderKammer Orchestra directed by Carlo Tenan, a new and very current project which highlights how
composers have always loved to GET from the sources of popular music, reworking and transforming them.
With the participation of mezzo-soprano Helen Walter, the concert takes inspiration from Beethoven, with the
cycle of Contraddances and the the Volkslieder, where Beethoven creates original arrangements of European
popular songs, and then moves on to unpublished twentieth-century repertoires.
A further relaunch for the concert is the publication of a volume created by the publisher Martinville, where the
recording is placed on an innovative platform intended to create a dense network of iconographic and textual
references.

Exhibition dedicated to the graphic work that Federico Fellini created in preparation for the film 'Il Casanova
(1976)'.
With Fellini Forbidden, the temporary exhibition activity of the Fellini Museum continues, integrating the
permanent collection with new contents.
On show the 42 tables dedicated by Fellini to 'Prick' (Anglo-Saxon nickname with which he identifies his sexual
alter ego). A series of authentic caricatures of the male genital organ that make up, with 'The book of dreams', the

Opera at Galli theatre: season 2022
Mozart's masterpiece makes its debut at the Galli Theater in a prestigious staging that director Ivan Alexandre
originally created for the stages of the Drottningholm Palace theater and the Opéra Royal de Versailles.
The opera arrives in Rimini thanks to the Opéra National de Bordeaux in collaboration with the Gran Teatro del
Liceu Barcelona and the Alighieri Theater in Ravenna.
The show is proposed as a return to the origins of the playful drama born in 1787 from the collaboration between
Lorenzo Da Ponte and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
On stage an international cast where the voices of Iulia Maria Dan, Julien Henric, Leonard Bernard, Arianna
Vendittelli, Robert Gleadow Megan Marino and Leonard Bernard stand out, directed by the baton of Antonio
Greco on the podium of the "Luigi Cherubini" Choir and Youth Orchestra.
With the sets and costumes designed by Antoine Fontaine and with the evocative lighting design created by
Tobias Hagström-Ståhl, the figure of the seducer enter our imagination forever.

Exhibition of four Italian artists: Elena Bellantoni, Davide Dormino, Rocco Dubbini, Giovanni
In the year of the centenary of the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini, four artists pay homage to the great intellectual in
an exhibition curated by Massimo Mattioli and inaugurated on the occasion of the ‘Contemporary Day’ promoted
by AMACI - Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums. The exhibition identifies decisive signs in the work
of four Italian artists active in different expressive mediums: Elena Bellantoni, Davide Dormino, Rocco Dubbini,
Giovanni Gaggia.
The cornerstone of Pasolini's lesson is the yearning and convinced practice of FREEDOM, experienced by the
writer and journalist as an essential element of existence, to be defended even at the cost of cultural and political
ostracism, of obstacles to the circulation and acceptance of his ideas and his works, up to personal suffering and
death.
The title of the project, conceived by the artists Giovanni Gaggia and Rocco Dubbini and edited by Massimo
Mattioli, is inspired by a famous article by Pasolini published in the Corriere della Sera, in which he tore the veils
of hypocrisy on certain truths hidden behind dramas which marked Italian history in the difficult 70s. With this, he
claimed his own intellectual freedom, but at the same time antagonized a large part of public opinion and national
political spheres. And "Golpe" is also the title of the work that in some ways sums up the profound meaning of the
exhibition project, created by Dubbini and Gaggia, who in this tribute evoke the role of the Navy, which according
to many thinkers became an emblem libertarian denying its support for the Borghese coup.
Independence of judgment returns in all the works on display, often as a direct tribute to Pier Paolo Pasolini. As in
the photograph "The ashes of Gramsci", by Elena Bellantoni, in which the artist identifies with Pasolini himself,
wearing his clothes and - where possible - assuming his appearance to recreate the scenery of his homage to the
tomb of the great philosopher and communist thinker. Or as in the installation "The chairs of the blond Tiber", by
Davide Dormino, who recovers the original chairs that welcomed Pasolini's last supper in the Roman restaurant
Biondo Tevere, on the evening he was killed.
Gaggia's presence in the exhibition is articulated, with works ranging from a series of pictorial interpretations of
the intellectual's face to a series of embroideries, his personal testimony of resistance to institutional "censorship"
and compressed freedom. And so is that of Dubbini, who among other things recalls Pasolini's close bond with his
mother in the profound installation "Mantra".
