You will NOT be able to
wear anything else
underneath the 7mm

CAN I SEE POLAR BEARS
DURING THE WHALE
SEASON?

Yes it is possible to see

LIGHTS IN SUMMER? up to 300 nights of the year, you
just need a cloudless night with low

                         activity!
Once your experienced guide has located a pod of beluga whales in the
mood for some people watching, you will slip over the side into the
water. While holding onto a rope you will drift or be gently towed by
the zodiac. Your new curious friends will follow along and come within
a few feet to look you over. Snorkelers enter the beluga’s world where
vocalizations are easy to hear and echolocation clicks and exhalation
              bubbles can be felt.
WHAT TO
EXPECT WHEN They’l l even bring their young by to check you out, too. These magical
moments in the water will never be forgotten as you have an unspoken
SWIMMING conversation with the whales. The Arctic wet suits we provide will
WITH BELUGA insulate you from the cold water for over an hour. Time spent with
WHALES these gentle creatures passes quickly but the thrill lasts a lifetime.

You'll be provided with 7MM Bare Arctic wet suits, doubled over the
torso, gloves, hoods and boots as well as masks and snorkels. You
might feel like a seal all suited up, but you’l l be like family in the water
and stay nice and warm in the meantime. The white glow of the
belugas in the water looks ethereal and you’l l be wondering why you
haven’t done this sooner, you won’t regret it!

Churchill is a small remote community in northern Manitoba, Canada roughly 110
kilometres (68 miles) from the Manitoba and Nunavut border. Churchill is along
the Hudson Bay at the mouth of the Churchill River on the 58th parallel North
far above most Canadian populated areas. Churchill is far from any other towns
or cities, with Thompson, approximately 400 km (250 mi) to the south, being
the closest larger settlement. Manitoba’s provincial capital, Winnipeg, is
Churchill approximately 1000 km
(620 mi) south of Churchill. The small community stands at an ecotone, on the
Hudson Plains, at the juncture of three ecoregions: the boreal forest to the
south, the Arctic tundra to the northwest, and the Hudson Bay to the north.
Churchill lies just south of the parallel of Stockholm, Sweden, and just north of
that of Inverness, Scotland. Churchill was named after John Churchill in 1686,
the 3rd governor of the Hudson’s Bay Company and the Duke of Marlborough.
ACCOMMODATION
  The accommodation for
    this tour hasn't been
confirmed yet, but to give
you an idea, Churchill has
cosy, comfortable 2/3 star
  style lodges. This is an
   example of the type of
lodge we will be using on
          this tour.
HOW DO I SECURE
              MY BOOKING
For this tour to go ahead we need a
minimum of 10 guests confirmed with a
              holding deposit by November 2018

              We release our international specialty
tours two years ahead of the tour date to
ensure that our tour can definitely go

$500 ahead with the correct numbers and so
that you have enough time to organise

Holding Fee
your holidays. This also allows more time
for you to make payments as we know
these once in a lifetime experiences can
be quite a lot of money to fork out
              straight away.

The only downside to this is that being so
far ahead means that exact dates cant be
given yet as the accommodation providers
cant confirm precise dates until a year
out. Also the itinerary can be subject to
              change.
