Preface Per CAA standard 2.1.5 and Framework for the Compliance Inspection of Higher Education Institutions Standard 3.4.1, institutions are required to compile an annual summary of institutional research data, to be used for monitoring performance, reporting, and institutional planning, and for reporting to the CAA and the Ministry of Education. At EUC, these data are compiled in one summary report, the Institutional Fact Book. EUC Institutional Fact Book 2021-2022 includes current and historical data pertaining to EUC academic programs, accreditation, admissions, enrollment, graduates, alumni, student success, student satisfaction, staff, faculty, faculty publications and academic and student support facilities as of March 2022. These data are used to monitor, review, evaluate and continuously improve the quality of the College program, students, and administrative support units at EUC. Collection of the data are coordinated to EUC relevant units and compiled and prepared by the Department of Quality Assurance. Should you have a question regarding this report please feel free to contact the Director of the Department of Quality Assurance email ramy.iskander@euc.ae General Information Background ❖ Founded on November 1, 2006 ❖ Licensed as Nicolas & Asp Postgraduate Institute on November 1, 2006 ❖ Licensed as Nicolas & Asp College of Postgraduate Dentistry on February 10, 2008 ❖ Licensed as Nicolas & Asp University College on August 23, 2009 ❖ Branches approved to operate as tertiary education provider in the Abu Dhabi Emirate by Abu ❖ Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) on February 9, 2009. ❖ Licensed as European University College on January 21, 2011 ❖ Renewal of Institutional License (as EUC) on May 8, 2013 EUC Fact Book 2021-22 Page | 4

Student Success Data On-Time Completion Rates On-time completion rates for eight EUC cohorts demonstrates that five of eight cohorts graduated 100% of students admitted; the completion rates for cohorts 2018-21, 2016-19B and 2014-17 were 90%, 83% and 80%, respectively. Overall, on-time completion rate was 47/50 or 94.0%. It is well known in the UAE professional community that EUC graduates are very well-trained professionals that reflect high quality education and excellent practicing standards. 2. Euro-American standards of excellence serve as the core of the EUC orthodontic Program. 3. UAE employers know that their patients will receive high quality care if treated by an EUC graduate. 4. There is currently a high demand for Orthodontists’ specialists in the UAE cities and communities because the orthodontist specialist-to-population ratio is low. 5. Only two graduate orthodontic educational programs exit in the UAE and EUC is the better of the two. Attrition rates were analyzed for all cohorts admitted since last institutional relicensing approval. Cohorts admitted since 2015 to present demonstrated 0% attrition rates. Attritions rate for the cohort entering 2014 was 20% during year-1. Overall year-1 attrition rate was 1/50 = 2.0%; year-2 and year-3 attrition rates were 0.0%.
